TuelTime Posted October 7, 2017 Posted October 7, 2017 That is what I'd do. Think we will need a 3rd running back here. It would be nice to see someone other than a FB give Shady a spell. I think not having a north/south runner with any quickness or speed is hurting the run game.

So essentially what you're saying is you've seen enough of fat, slow and old RB that drops passes and fumbles? You may be on to something.

McBeane signs and releases players every 8 hours it seems to improve the team, so why not try a simple move like dressing Banyard to see if we can jump start the run game.

Yep. And both Karlos and Gilislee were both excellent change of pace backups to Shady. With Tonka Toy the only change of pace is fast to slow.
26CornerBlitz Posted October 7, 2017 Author Posted October 7, 2017 Three TE sets and pass out of them Andy Benoit: How the Bills are playing to Tyrod Taylor's strengths (1:42) More of this with the depleted WR group.
BullBuchanan Posted October 7, 2017 Posted October 7, 2017 Philly Klopfenstein ? The thread should have ended right here. Bravo. http://media2.giphy.com/media/b9aScKLxdv0Y0/giphy.gif
Dablitzkrieg Posted October 7, 2017 Posted October 7, 2017 Aren't Bengals banged up in CB? No, they just suck
CommonCents Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 No, they just suck The Bengals are more than capable at CB and have some depth. Not that it will matter against the Bills air raid attack.
MiltonWaddams Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 No, they just suck Sadly, One of the Bills weaknesses is playing up to one of the Bengals strengths in that matchup. Kirkpatrick, Jones and Dennard are not slouches.
Estro Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 Some Clay, some Mccoy, mixed in with a little Zay, O'Leary, Holmes, Keep in and DiMarco. It's going to be tough sledding but I see the Bills trying to get the ball in a bunch of different people's hands. The type of game where like 8 different people catch a pass. Can we do that? Not sure, but absent a monstrous game from McCoy I think that will be the formula to sneak out a win on the road.
BuffBillsForLife Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 I have long since stopped being concerned about our WR corps. It's a lost cause that will undoubtedly be addressed in the offseason. Brandon Tate vs Philly Brown starting in the slot is basically meaningless. Missing Gaines will be huge though.
buffaloboyinATL Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 This seriously has to be the worst receiving core in the league. Hopefully Zay uses some stickem this week.Worse than Cleveland?
Putin Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 Mike RodakVerified account @mikerodak 18m18 minutes ago More With Jordan Matthews out and Philly Brown gone, Bills will have 4 healthy receivers: Zay Jones, Andre Holmes, Kaelin Clay, Brandon Tate. WOW Cincy's defense will be up all night
BobbyC81 Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 Bradley GelberVerified account @BradleyGelber 5m5 minutes ago More Have to imagine that means we'll see Joe Webb get some time at WR & some heavy TE sets... #Bills Yeah, we seem to forget Webb is supposed to also be a WR. Career 8 receptions for 61 yards.
8-8 Forever? Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 (edited) I envision lots of 2 TE 2 Wr and 3 TE and 1 wr formations Man, if McD and staff figure out a way to get a win out of this injury situation on the road against a good team, you really gotta start "Billievin". I see dark clouds around this game for sure due to the injuries..... Edited October 8, 2017 by 8-8 Forever?
