26CornerBlitz Posted October 6, 2017 Posted October 6, 2017 Dennison liking What He's Seen from His OffenseThe Bills' offensive coordinator joined Howard Simon on Friday morning. 10-6: Bills' OC Rick Dennison with Howard Simon.mp3 (10:19) @WGR550 Dennison - it's great to win, but we have to keep improving. There are plenty of things to work on #Bills Dennison - Cincinnati has a great personnel up front, they make it tough to make plays on them #Bills Dennison - guys up front are really good, Geno Atkins is really good. They fill their gaps, and play confident in the back end #Bills Dennison - Tyrod is doing a great job of leading this offense. Guys want to follow him, they know he can make big plays #Bills Dennison - Tyrod has done a great job studying the opponent #Bills Dennison - Jordan Matthews has made some big plays for us. We'll have to move some guys, and they'll have to step up without him #Bills Dennison - Zay Jones is working really hard. He'd like to have a couple of plays back, but there's no stone he won't leave un-turned #Bills
GunnerBill Posted October 6, 2017 Posted October 6, 2017 Dennison - Zay Jones is working really hard. He'd like to have a couple of plays back, but there's no stone he won't leave un-turned #Bills Did he really say this?
Bangarang Posted October 6, 2017 Posted October 6, 2017 It would be nice if we could get the running game going and score more points.
26CornerBlitz Posted October 6, 2017 Author Posted October 6, 2017 It would be nice if we could get the running game going and score more points. The running game was much better in Atlanta.
blacklabel Posted October 6, 2017 Posted October 6, 2017 It would be nice if we could get the running game going and score more points. This is expert analysis.
26CornerBlitz Posted October 6, 2017 Author Posted October 6, 2017 Did he really say this? He did. You see a problem with any of it?
hemma Posted October 6, 2017 Posted October 6, 2017 3 and out on 48% of drives could use some improvement.
26CornerBlitz Posted October 6, 2017 Author Posted October 6, 2017 3 and out on 48% of drives could use some improvement. No doubt. Much of that was the Carolina game I'm guessing.
Wayne Arnold Posted October 6, 2017 Posted October 6, 2017 The running game was much better in Atlanta. It was? 3.25 yards per carry is below the season average (which is near the bottom of the league).
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted October 6, 2017 Posted October 6, 2017 3 and out on 48% of drives could use some improvement. "other than that, I like what I see!"
SaviorPeterman Posted October 6, 2017 Posted October 6, 2017 (edited) Dennison seems to be pretty delusional but whatever, his popgun offense has done enough the last few weeks against good teams but let's see if it holds up. I don't believe it will especially as injuries loom large. Edited October 6, 2017 by SaviorPeterman
26CornerBlitz Posted October 6, 2017 Author Posted October 6, 2017 It was? 3.25 yards per carry is below the season average (which is near the bottom of the league). Did you see how they did against Carolina and Denver? Yes it was better in ATL.
Wayne Arnold Posted October 6, 2017 Posted October 6, 2017 Did you see how they did against Carolina and Denver? Yes it was better in ATL. Broncos have the #1 rush defense in the NFL. Panthers are very good too. Falcons are in the bottom half against the run. Quality of opponent matters.
SlimShady'sSpaceForce Posted October 6, 2017 Posted October 6, 2017 like or love? 3 and out on 48% of drives could use some improvement. It was that bad ? 🤢
Drunken Pygmy Goat Posted October 6, 2017 Posted October 6, 2017 Did he really say this? Double negative? That's not praise...
GunnerBill Posted October 6, 2017 Posted October 6, 2017 He did. You see a problem with any of it? There is no stone he won't leave un-turned....... it's a double negative. It means he will leave stones un-turned. Pretty sure that was not what he meant.
26CornerBlitz Posted October 6, 2017 Author Posted October 6, 2017 There is no stone he won't leave un-turned....... it's a double negative. It means he will leave stones un-turned. Pretty sure that was not what he meant. Gotcha.
BuffaloHokie13 Posted October 6, 2017 Posted October 6, 2017 3 and out on 48% of drives could use some improvement. not an accurate stat.
Mat68 Posted October 6, 2017 Posted October 6, 2017 The teams are loading the box and trying to stop the run. The efficiency is going down but it is only adding to the effectiveness of the Pa game. Its a very good place to be in from a play calling perspective. I have noticed some increase in pulling which will help vs 8 man fronts. They are a big run away from getting right back to where they want to be. I want to see some Tawain jones get a carry or 2. His speed will be a good mix up with Mccoy and Tolbert. Whenever Mccoy is out the holes are bigger in running game. Having a quicker back from Tolbert would be nice. I still like his size and change of pace, very much body punch type of runs.
GG Posted October 6, 2017 Posted October 6, 2017 There is no stone he won't leave un-turned....... it's a double negative. It means he will leave stones un-turned. Pretty sure that was not what he meant. I think he was referring to his hands.
