FTW_BillsFan Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 Is this a typo? This could be the reason why TD isn't so active in FA... They only have us $652,000 above the cap... should it be 6,520,000? Thanks. Cap Page
Snorom Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 I hope its a typo, its either that or cap adjustments and more unknown performance bonuses were hit.
Puhonix Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 Uh oh.... leftnutkickimsore, looks like trouble in the Bills camp.
ajzepp Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 Maybe we are paying Gandy 6.4 million per year. 263063 LMAO!
MartyBall4Buffalo Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 Yeah shouldn't we be under the cap? Those figures have to be false, But if It's true I'm no longer feeling so dandy about signing mike gandy
BillsGuyInMalta Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 Yeah shouldn't we be under the cap? Those figures have to be false, But if It's true I'm no longer feeling so dandy about signing mike gandy 263101 Its a typo...its got to be. Clumpy would never be 6.5 million dollars off his mark.
LabattBlue Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 I'm not saying this isn't an ESPN screwup, but how do you mistake the wording.... "6.5 million" with "652,000"??
ajzepp Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 I'm not saying this isn't an ESPN screwup, but how do you mistake the wording...."6.5 million" with "652,000"?? 263292 Didn't ESPN also transform Jonas Jennings into a white man on their website?
RJsackedagain Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 I'm not saying this isn't an ESPN screwup, but how do you mistake the wording...."6.5 million" with "652,000"?? 263292 ESPN has been messing things up all week ...... yesterday on their wire they posted Bledsoe was going to be releashed by the Bills and the date on the story was March 4
BillsGuyInMalta Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 Pretty easily...if you just see 6520000, you can easily forget a zero and change the number completely. Trust me, we cant be in worse shape than the Raiders, it is physically impossible. That and I checked CBSportsline and AskTheCommish and both of them updated their cap pages on the 1st and 2nd and both have the Bills at 6-8 million under.
Snorom Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 I emailed John Clayton and this was is quick reply to me I'm going off management council numbers. There were at $650,000 on Thursday. They cleared $1.6 million of room Friday morning, so they are at $2.265 million. That's no misprint. They don't have much room. I emailed him back for some more enlightenment but he probably gets hammered with tons of these types of emails. It was cool of him to reply as quickly has he did to me.
Alaska Darin Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 It was cool of him to reply as quickly has he did to me. 263306 Well, we know he's not out looking for chicks.
BillsGuyInMalta Posted March 5, 2005 Posted March 5, 2005 If thats true, the Bills are royally screwed. I'm still trusting Clumpy's numbers.
Brandon Posted March 5, 2005 Posted March 5, 2005 I'll choose to believe the older numbers until another source confirms that the Bills are in this type of cap trouble. This is far worse than what anyone else is projecting for the Bills cap situation.
ajzepp Posted March 5, 2005 Posted March 5, 2005 Well, we know he's not out looking for chicks. 263311 Did you happen to see 'Napoleon Dynamite'? I swear John Clayton looks just like the brother lol
Larry Playfair Posted March 5, 2005 Posted March 5, 2005 ifs its true, what the hell did we spend all our cash on? a great D...w/ no o line?? this is quite disturbing.
Alaska Darin Posted March 5, 2005 Posted March 5, 2005 Did you happen to see 'Napoleon Dynamite'? I swear John Clayton looks just like the brother lol 263322 I actually said that to my wife when we were watching it.
