One of the main reasons the Pats are 2-2 is because they aren't being allowed to play by a different rulebook to the rest of the league this season. RoyBatty is alive
Pats should in theory always lead the league in penalties because they know the playbook better than anyone and stretch the rules as absolutely far as possible. EG, they get in the red zone a pick play is eventually coming

BfloBillsFan
Anyone else wonder about that that arm brace he uses? I don't think he carries/holds the ball in that arm but it seems to me he uses the arm in the brace to swipe defenders at Line of scrimmage and push off defenders downfield. It's like a giant piece of armour that he gets to wear every game forever because he hurt his elbow once YEARS ago. I have no idea how this isnt talked about more. It's got a soft wrap on the metal, but usually after 2-3 snaps the soft wrap is starting to come off and then he has exposed giant metal rods running the length of his arm that he can use to bater people if he leads with that shoulder. Augie
I'd complain too, if I was used to getting away with PI all these years, and now I'm not. He's complaining about consistency? He does it consistently, so he should be called consistently. Headline says Gronkowski "Baffled by Pass Interference Penalties". I have a feeling that applies to just about anything. Koko78
The Cheatriots don't beat Houston without several OPI no-calls. The pushing off by Gronk and Cooks was pretty egregious that final drive.
Scott7975
has Gronk ever had a catch WITHOUT pushing off? i know he's not getting open with his blistering speed Honestly, I don't think he has every caught a pass without pushing off. He does it constantly because he got away with it constantly. Now he doesn't know how to play without doing it. The Pats either push off or have blatant pick plays. Been getting away with it for years. They don't care because even if they get flagged for it, it wont happen more than a couple times a game. Big deal. They have already gained a few 100 yards from the ones not called. Edited October 5, 2017 by Scott7975
MJS
I'd complain too, if I was used to getting away with PI all these years, and now I'm not. Gronk has pretty much always been called for a lot of OPI's. At least for the past 3 seasons. has Gronk ever had a catch WITHOUT pushing off? i know he's not getting open with his blistering speed That's a pretty tame push off. I'm sure he's had worse.
