26CornerBlitz Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 (edited) @RapSheet Following the injury to WR Jordan Matthews, source says the #Bills are signing WR Philly Brown. He spent training camp with them, too. Edited October 3, 2017 by 26CornerBlitz
oldmanfan Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 There you go. Makes sense. Kind of surprised they didn't bring Reilly up.
Boatdrinks Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 Lol knew this would happen. Why improve the passing game? There are only 12 games left and the playoffs are an actual possibility.
Bangarang Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 Guess this means I should put my Brandon Reilly jersey back in the closet.
CommonCents Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 Lol knew this would happen. Why improve the passing game? There are only 12 games left and the playoffs are an actual possibility. As expected. They are taking a long term approach, we saw that this offseason. Anyone expecting them to trade away future assets for the now was off track.
YoloinOhio Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 (edited) I had a feeling he would be back. Good short term solution. Welcome back Philly. We're all counting on you. Edited October 3, 2017 by YoloinOhio
Buffalo Boy Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 Cheap hire. Worked the system in preseason, McD knows him...... makes sense.
Wayne Arnold Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 Immediately our starting slot receiver (#3 on the depth chart).
aristocrat Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 it's not like there are really talented guys out there to pick up.
Estelle Getty Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 I remember with all of the injuries the panthers had at WR in the Super Bowl how Brown had a great game as Cams primary target. So I am a fan.
SlimShady'sSpaceForce Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 Philly Brown is back! Woot woot No real down time getting up to speed.
billsfan89 Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 Not a bad move, makes sense since the player knows the offense. I still wouldn't be shocked if they make a trade for a receiver if a talented one could be had at a good price. But at least they get another body in there.
cba fan Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 (edited) Finally a Philly in Buffalo instead of a Buffalo going to Philly. I think I would have preferred Streater or Reilly though. Edited October 3, 2017 by cba fan
Charles Romes Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 I trust our coaching staff to get the most out of him (feels good to say that).
grb Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 No real down time getting up to speed. But how much speed can he get up to?
