I understand that there is plenty of season left, but let's not act like the victories we have are hollow. First 'It was just the Jets'. Then we couldn't even muster a TD against the Panthers. Then Siemian had an uncharacteristic bad day and we benefited from referee calls, 'a gift', but we'll see who we really are next week on the road against Atlanta. Now we beat Atlanta and it's 'Well we've started well before, the real tests are in November/December'.

No. Enough is enough. The Buffalo Bills are a good football team that can compete with anyone this year. It's okay to admit that.

I like the feeling of being 3-1 all alone atop the AFCE.

to you list .....

Those JETS are 2-2 and tied with NE for 2nd place in the division  so sad for them.

Denver - Siemian - which QB are you getting the good or the bad. I think Siemian did pretty good again yesterday.

Atlanta - good tough game with or w/o the Julio injury.

Funny thing is when I said the Bills could go 8-1 in the next 2 months I was called out as being unrealistic. I was expected too much from TT.

Good post! :thumbsup::thumbsup:

The Bills are a couple steps away from being a dominant football team that can actually beat these good teams convincingly instead of just barely. I'm hoping the offensive line starts blocking better. If that offensive line becomes dominant in the run and pass game, this team becomes dominant on defense and offense.

If someone were to tell me that we would be 3-1; and beat both Denver AND Atlanta, without Shady coming close to rushing for 100yds in either of those games, I would've told you you're nuts.

We are still here......

Can TT lead the team back to a win from say a 14 point deficit late in a game?

IF he shows he can do that I'll start to believe....

I am happy to be 3-1, but without this Defense, we are 1-3, maybe 0-4.

Tyrod cannot carry this team. I'm not sure he knows what a WR is. 5 completions per game to wideouts.

Through 4 Weeks, 21 completions to WRs.

Week 4 - 4 WR receptions

Matthews: 2

Jones: 1

Holmes: 1

Week 3 - 6 WR receptions

Matthews: 3

Holmes: 2

K. Clay: 1

Week 2 - 7 WR receptions

Matthews: 3

Holmes: 2

Jones: 2

Week 1 - 4 WR receptions

Matthews: 2

Jones: 1

Holmes: 1

The Bills have a bottom five WR corp. They had better the last two seasons and they scored a lot of points, when the defense was the problem.

....this gets comical......last week the yipsters pee peed in their Wheaties 'cause Sammy and Robert combined for 12 catches and 234 yds......yet no one mentioned their combined 4 catches for 34 yards yesterday.....and who gives a rat's azz if Taylor puts up pedestrian numbers and STILL gets the "W"?.......it doesn't change a 1st round QB pick strategy in 2018......good Lord and it's only Monday, beotching about a W.......

Yeah, it's ridiculous. two wins in a row against top talent, and you still get the downers.

One must admit there are a lot of weapons on the Rams , especially compared with the Bills. Only so many balls to go around. Some days they will lean heavily on Gurley and Kupp , some days the WRs. That offense is legit.

Knowing their psychopathy and narcissism, they will problem say something like "give it time" and are still secretly hoping he will fail.

But it's nice now they are gone and eating crow and huge amounts of humble pie.

I'm glad the Bills are winning....no fan is ever going to hope for their team to fail. But if you think I'm eating any kind of crow or humble pie related to Tyrod's playing abilities thus far, then you and I are watching different games. He continues to do what he's done well: be an incredible athlete and quite good at throwing downfield. What doesn't do well is stand in the pocket and make the passes, anticipate and throw receivers open, consistently make the throws I would expect an NFL QB to make such as the last few games having wide open receivers and not even coming close or asking his receivers to dive for the ball when it should have been at least within arms length of making the catch.

I can't fault him for the lack of audibles - initially I did and then I read last week where Rico is not giving him that freelance ability, so no fault of his own, but he is otherwise a great athlete and pedestrian NFL QB. He's better than what is out there, but his development thus far is very minor. We'll see how he does the rest of the year, but I for one think he's still basically the same QB. His Defense has been outstanding - that's what has won the games and kept them in the game against Carolina where if he had just made a better throw, the Bills could very well be 4-0. However, he's overall done enough so I'm not complaining....but don't mistake silence for outright endorsement. It means, he's ok for now....but dear God, not the future.

And by know means should he enter a spelling bee

Know man. You don't even no what your talking about.

Let people waste away the season never having any fun until the season is over and the real test is winning a playoff game. Then the real test is next year. Me, I plan to enjoy every damn game. This team to me is good and can make the playoffs this year. Can they fall off and lose like 8 straight? Sure they can, but that's not my outlook. My outlook is we had a great run thus far and I believe they can keep it going while losing a game here and there. I feel they can win every week if they keep playing like this.

I was one of the people saying its unrealistic. I didn't call you out. That's also not what you said. You didn't say "the Bills could go 8-1." You said you wouldn't start getting excited for games unless the Bills went 8-1.

....it is actually a GOOD thing......the yipsters and yappers, specifically those rogue from day care on computers during nap time expose themselves.....same thing happens when they get home and Mom doesn't monitor their Internet access versus homework time.....for those of us that want to engage in substantive football dialogue debate, we know who to avoid.....it streamlines our process right?....I KNEW I could find a positive in all of this BULLS%&T (cough)....I recommended a PG-13 Forum for the youngsters to fight it out........

The Bills need to go 8-1 for me to be sold on TT

That is correct. Did I say he couldn't? Did I imply he couldn't?

Why not go 8-1? With this defense we have no excuses as long as TT plays his good games.

That's what irked me last season. TT couldn't carry a bad defense to big wins.

Who knows what his game is like if he were to always pass 30 or more times.

Show me you can do it when needed and I'll be happy.

I never demanded he pass 300 a game. I use it as a milestone to reach or exceed

 How many QBs in the NFL can? Brady and Rodgers are about it. Oh yeah, Peterman too.
