CowgirlsFan
The hockey world lost a great voice Sunday. The Glens Falls New York native lost his battle with cancer. May we remember his family and his friends.
Gugny
He is a sports legend where I live. Back when the AHL was drawing thousands of fans every game (late 70s - early 80s), the Adirondack Red Wings games were the place to be. They were electric. We're still trying to be a hockey town, but it's tough these days. Dave Strader was a big part of the best of times as a hockey town. He will be missed. RIP and eff cancer. gomper
I knew he came back for a few games last season and I thought things were looking up. This sucks. He was a total pro and pulled off something really difficult. Being unassuming yet giving it a big game feel. RIP.
