klos63 Posted October 2, 2017 Posted October 2, 2017 The fact that it appears so straight forward makes you wonder what went on behind the scenes that no one knows of. Considering how many people here on this board totally wrote the Bills off, ripping practically every decision they made, shows that most here on this site know very little compared to what they think they know. Think I trust the Bills judgment more than those here who actually think they know anything. We all watch the games, Tolbert adds very little and he has been fairly ineffective for the last few seasons. It's one thing to question moves before any games are played, this isn't what we are doing.
NoSaint Posted October 2, 2017 Posted October 2, 2017 Agreed on Tolbert. But J Will is just a guy. We could get him or anyone like him off about 30 practice squads. But surprised that they don't consider giving Taiwan Jones some touches. Then we should get one of those guys.
Koko78 Posted October 2, 2017 Posted October 2, 2017 DeAngelo Williams is waiting by the phone. Ray Rice is ready to go. He's been practicing punishing opponents by visiting the nearest elevator daily.
CircleTheWagons99 Posted October 2, 2017 Posted October 2, 2017 I know he was asking for tooooo much but AP would have been a perfect fit in Buffalo.
Boatdrinks Posted October 2, 2017 Posted October 2, 2017 Imo it would be A. Sammy Watkins B. Jonathan Williams
BigBuff423 Posted October 2, 2017 Posted October 2, 2017 Honestly, to me its more about Taiwan Jones...meaning, hes a gifted runner and has time to learn Offense since they got him, give him a chance to run the ball.
May Day 10 Posted October 2, 2017 Posted October 2, 2017 Tolberts the slowest guy on the field and his power running is gone. Not to mention he almost fumbled away a drive that the entire offense worked their butts off for. He is worthless and its clear they cant afford to give mccoy a break.... god help us if he gets hurt
LA Grant Posted October 2, 2017 Posted October 2, 2017 Ray Rice is ready to go. He's been practicing punishing opponents by visiting the nearest elevator daily. Bad comparison and bad joke.
ganesh Posted October 2, 2017 Posted October 2, 2017 Totally agree. McDermott has made a lot of good decisions, in and out of the game stuff. The Tolbert love is the one thing I think is glaringly bad. Tolbert should be on the team. I understand his usefulness in a bunch of roles. But he should not, at all, be getting all these backup RB carries that Karlos and Gillislee and (in preseason) Jwilliams was getting. It's embarrassing. May be he brings that leadership skills that this team was devoid in the locker room.
Doc Posted October 2, 2017 Posted October 2, 2017 His worst decision was extending Wood at $8M/year. It makes no sense anyway you look at it.
Yav Posted October 2, 2017 Posted October 2, 2017 IDK - the Bills are 3-1 and in first place and they've done that by beating teams that everyone is saying they can't beat and they are one completion from beating Carolina and a 4-0. So not sure how anyone can second guess the coach at this point in time.
Bray Wyatt Posted October 2, 2017 Posted October 2, 2017 Ray Rice is ready to go. He's been practicing punishing opponents by visiting the nearest elevator daily. Yeah but can he go in the wrestling ring like Deangelo? We all know McD was a wrestler
Kelly the Dog Posted October 2, 2017 Posted October 2, 2017 May be he brings that leadership skills that this team was devoid in the locker room.I said I want him on the team. He serves a purpose. He shouldn't get the backup carries that Karlos and Gillislee got.
Dr. K Posted October 2, 2017 Posted October 2, 2017 And they use him in dumb situations. They ran a draw play today on 2nd and 19, to TOLBERT. He has his usefulness in certain situations.... that is NOT one of those situations. That draw play on 2nd and 19 had me screaming at the TV.
teef Posted October 2, 2017 Posted October 2, 2017 Baynard. Why is he inactive? every week. i have no idea why either. color me confused as tell. there's definitely a place for tolbert for short, grind it out type yards, but what the hell?
