He hasn't had command of the game but he's thrown a few nice passes. Part of me will always wonder if he would have had any chance if dropped into a better situation than immediately starting with a knee injury, no qb coach, a very green OC and marrone. Like if dropped behind a vet with a true red shirt season could he have been a mid tier qb? (I'm talking like a Matt Schaub career not tom Brady)

I think I've seen more accurate passes with good ball placement from EJ today than I did in his whole Bills career...those balls are right on the money

Same thing... if he can ride this out and Carr comes back he goes into free agency looking to get some josh mccown money!

EJ threw a lot of great passes like that on the Bills. He just looked so clueless other times that fans just ignored those. He had his chances and he didn't do enough to keep a job. I think that was obvious whether you liked him or didn't. But he threw a lot of good passes.

So even though I have NFL ticket, I can't watch raiders-broncos because it's on CBS here and DIRECTV is in some catfight with our local cbs affiliate so we can't watch anything that's on it.

Ok it's on red zone!
