TPS Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 Hughes has my vote, but Hyde is right there. What a surprise he has been.as the secondary acknowledges, the guys up front are making their job easier, and Hughes is the #1 reason. As McD says, "just 1 of 11..."
Saxum Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 Of all of the teams in NFC I like Green Bay the best and when we got Hyde I was happy especially since it was not a one year contract. He is the anchor for the new backfield who is not as irrational as Williams was but can make as many plays.
YoloinOhio Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 Id take Poyer and White over Hyde. White lead the entire NFL with passes defensed. Hyde has allowed some underneath throws and was the player to allow our lone passing TDalso made TD- saving solo tackle on the Freeman run in 1st half
PABillsfan23 Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 Wait.. I thought it was Poyer? Then Hughes now Hyde? Im confused
The Wiz Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 Yup. Forgot to add that part. our entire starting secondary makes less money than the one player we let walk up to baaahhhstan.
YoloinOhio Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 (edited) Hurt his knee and is Day-to-day No practice today - knee "soreness" per McD Please play Edit: @chrisbrownbills Coach McDermott said Hyde wasn't going to practice today, but he's out here dressed and ready to go. #Bills Edited October 4, 2017 by YoloinOhio

Harmon noted why Hyde's addition to the secondary has been so valuable to the Bills.

JMF2006 Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 I more or less expected this from Micah, The bigger surprises to me are Poyer and Ramon Humber. Humber looks like a beast but has always been STer glad to see him take full advantage of his opportunity. Too bad about his thumb injury though.
DC Tom Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 Yeah...but if you take away all the great plays by Hughes and Lorenzo, Hyde sucks...
YoloinOhio Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 What's his injury? Is he playing Sunday?"general soreness" (mostly knee)
BuffaloHokie13 Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 Yeah...but if you take away all the great plays by Hughes and Lorenzo, Hyde sucks... I'm more concerned about his stats if you take away his INTs and Tackles. Hideous!
Utah John Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 He and the other DBs have played very well, but I think a big reason is that the D line is putting so much pressure on the other QBs. If Dareus gets healthy and gets his head on straight (not holding my breath), the D line will be even better and the DBs will miraculously get even better too.

26CornerBlitz Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 @BuffaloBillsPR Five games into his @buffalobills career, Micah Hyde finds himself atop the @NFL in interceptions. https://www.profootballfocus.com/news/pro-nfl-2017-week-5-team-of-the-week Flex D – Micah Hyde, Buffalo Bills PFF Grade: 89.6 Elite Stat: Micah Hyde allowed 0.08 yards per coverage snaps. Though the Bills came out of this game on the wrong end of the scoreboard, they dominated when it came to turnovers, and Micah Hyde notched one of them with an interception of QB Andy Dalton off a tipped pass. Hyde also made two tackles for short gain and another for loss in a fine all around performance for Buffalo.
