Kmart128 Posted October 2, 2017 Posted October 2, 2017 Id take Poyer and White over Hyde. White lead the entire NFL with passes defensed. Hyde has allowed some underneath throws and was the player to allow our lone passing TD
Chimp Posted October 2, 2017 Posted October 2, 2017 I think most fans knew who he was and were happy we signed him in FA. And Poyer made more highlight plays and Tre White got a lot of well deserved pub, too. But Hyde has been tremendous against the pass and run. And his obvious highlight plays will be discussed a lot. But he makes a lot of other plays as well. We have yet to give up one bomb in four games. He made two tackles on long runs that were hard tackles in the open field that are touchdowns if he misses them. He doesn't see to miss assignments or tackles. They put him back to be a reliable PR returner. He's been lights out, even with other defensive backs being lights out. And he's probably been the best overall player on defense. Many have played well. Wait a minute. What about all the guys that "know what they are looking at", Dareus is the beast in this D.

Paul Costa Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 Love all 4 of the Defensive Backfield so far. I worry about depth and health. So far A+✅
aristocrat Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 You want guys playing above their pay grade right? He's making 7 mil I think and is looking like an all pro back there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
aristocrat Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 Hes making $6M/year. Even better Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Doc Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 Even better Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Yup. Forgot to add that part.
White Linen Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 He's played great, no doubt. Kyle Williams has been flat awesome and Hughes is on pace to have a career year in sacks and tackles.
BillsFan130 Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 Yep, White and Hyde i think are tied for first
NewEra Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 Hughes has my vote, but Hyde is right there. What a surprise he has been. Agreed. Jerry is a bad man and our best player on D imo. Shady being the best player by a good margin
26CornerBlitz Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 @thurmanthomas Thank you for joining #TheBuffaloBills @micah_hyde @micah_hyde Micah Hyde Retweeted Thurman Thomas I appreciate that! Let's keep this thing rolling. #MafiaSZN
GunnerBill Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 Made a shoe string tackle to prevent a long TD run too. He's good. As high profile as he was at the end of the season for Green Bay as they went on a tear to defy the odds and make the playoffs yet again...... it was kind of a surprise he wasn't a hotter commodity in FA. Agreed. I really think his versatility hurt him. Green Bay would move him everywhere to cover injuries. Corner, Safety, Nickel, Dime.... he played them all. Think some teams pigeon holed him as a jack of all trades and master of none. Always been a fan and not surprised he is excelling.

Their loss our gain.
machine gun kelly Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 I think it's hard to pick out who is the best. As a unit the defense has played lights out. Hyde's excellent, but so has White and Poyer played, Preston Brown has a ton of tackles, the front four have stopped the run all year, and so on.
GunnerBill Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 I noticed they are also using him on KR I think it was punt returns rather than kick returns.... but yep, they are.
YoloinOhio Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 I think it was punt returns rather than kick returns.... but yep, they are. i was just rewatching the game and it was a punt. For some reason I remembered it was a KO. His return skills were also on display on his 2nd INT!
