Tiberius
New poll out, and while a majority of Americans think Trump is a joke, incompetent and someone that is a compulsive liar, Republicans like him, overwhelmingly. He is there man and represents their values. That says a lot about those people. There is a clear difference between the parties. The GOP is a nuthouse and the Dems are the typical flawed party but well within the mainstream of American thought. http://www.politico.com/story/2017/09/27/trump-poll-fit-to-be-president-243219 The poll reports that 59 percent say Trump is not honest, 60 percent say he does not have good leadership skills and 61 percent say he does not share their values. The survey highlighted deep divisions along racial lines. Fifty percent of white voters say Trump is fit to serve, while 94 percent of black voters say he is not fit for the role; Hispanic voters are split 60 percent to 40 percent. Overall, 62 percent of voters disapprove of the way the president has handled race relations. Sixty percent of voters say Trump is doing more to divide the country than unite it. The poll also revealed divisions among men and women. Men are divided 49 percent to 49 percent, while 63 percent of women say Trump is not fit. More Democrats than Republicans disapprove of Trump’s fitness for office. Ninety-four percent of Democrats say Trump is not fit to be president, while 84 percent of Republicans responded that he is fit for the job. Independent voters are split, with 57 saying he is fit and 40 percent saying he isn’t. Republicans overwhelmingly like him, his policies, his distractions, his character, his racial appeals, etc. Among Republicans 79 percent approve of his performance, 79 percent think he is honest (!), 85 percent think he cares about ordinary Americans, 62 percent think he is level-headed (!!) and perhaps worst of all, 78 percent think he shares their values. https://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/right-turn/wp/2017/09/28/americans-as-a-whole-havent-lost-their-minds-but-the-gop-has/?hpid=hp_no-name_opinion-card-e%3Ahomepage%2Fstory&utm_term=.021b9412f8a5

Tiberius
The majority of Americans are braindead. With Republican voters filling up that majority. Dems are in the minority ***** Donors are up in arms. The real people Republican politicians listen to. (Yes, they are more controlled than Democratic donors) http://www.politico.com/story/2017/10/05/republican-donors-trump-mcconnell-anger-243449 Republicans are confronting a growing revolt from their top donors, who are cutting off the party in protest over its inability to get anything done. Tensions reached a boiling point at a recent dinner at the home of Los Angeles billionaire Robert Day. In full view of around two dozen guests, Thomas Wachtell, a retired oil and gas investor and party contributor, delivered an urgent message to the night’s headliner, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell: Just do something.
