Bleeding Bills Blue Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 Yeah Rexs system was very very bad...kinda makes you appreciate those dominant years by Revis even more. After watching his sieve defense here it makes me wonder how any cb could do alright in that d let alone be a superstar. watching revis in his prime, he was really tough to get open on. you couldnt beat him deep because he would cut you off, and he was always like glued to your hip.
YoloinOhio Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 Dareus? HAHAHAHAHAHAAlex Mack is one of the best centers in the league. Dareus playing will help.
Doc Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 Julio was limited yesterday. Is he going to even play this weekend?
Kelly the Dog Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 Julio was limited yesterday. Is he going to even play this weekend?Earlier in the week they said yes.
Mark Vader Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 Tre'Davious White's game against Denver was very important for him as a player. It was not his best performance, but it was great to see him adjust his game in the second half, after he had been beaten a couple of times earlier in the first half. I love that he looks back at the QB while he is in coverage, which is a big reason why he has 7 passes defensed. Also the lack of YAC against him is huge. He will get tested this week, and as the rest of the season goes on, but he has shown that he is up to the challenge. Good for him on winning this honor. I know it's very early in the season, but he could very well turn into a special player for us.
YoloinOhio Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 Julio was limited yesterday. Is he going to even play this weekend?he said today he has no issues with his back, and "feels great"
BuffaloHokie13 Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 he said today he has no issues with his back, and "feels great" Beasley and Upshaw, however...

Doc Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 Earlier in the week they said yes. he said today he has no issues with his back, and "feels great" Thanks. Beasley and Upshaw, however... Yeah, those 2 are likely out.
YoloinOhio Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 Beasley and Upshaw, however...how about Schroeder?
BuffaloHokie13 Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 how about Schroeder? too busy playing piano for Snoopy.
Scott7975 Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 People were taking about Darby being an elite cb after his rookie year. But this is a great system for a cb. Rexs system was awful for cbs. Wasn't Darby's rookie year under Rex's system though?
100DollarBills Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 McDermott has been on a tear with the decisions he's been involved with! Poyer, Hyde, Tre, Gaines, Matthews and all those draft picks for 2018. Who in their right mind could not be on board with this? I've been impressed with McDermott's choices so far, really excited for the 2018 draft. Hope McDermott can continue turning this club around. So far so good with exceptions from QB. Get us a QB and we could begin our consistent playoff run.
Doc Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 Wasn't Darby's rookie year under Rex's system though? Yup. That's why I was so disappointed with him last year and figured he was a 1-year wonder.
Buffaloflash Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 Hey,They're Going To Tank! Right On Tre!
3rdand12 Posted September 29, 2017 Posted September 29, 2017 how could you not be enthusiastic about this Kid ? what great recovery after Denver went after him hard. Smart physical disciplined I am impressed indeed.
CanadianFan Posted September 29, 2017 Posted September 29, 2017 Thank you Doug Whaley. This was your draft your work your scouting your talent evaluation. All your 1st round picks have been productive, despite what haters say.

Meark Posted September 29, 2017 Posted September 29, 2017 (edited) Sounds like we should trade him for a 3rd round pick in 2019. I'm sure it will be too much to resign him. Strike while the iron is hot I say! Edited September 29, 2017 by Meark
Marty McFly Posted September 29, 2017 Posted September 29, 2017 Thats awesome. Our 1st round rookie is winning awards and sht. We continue to draft good CBs with high picks. Its one of our trademarks. This regime really has to be money with the draft, this upcoming one will shape our team for the next 5 years for better or for worse. We have 6 top 100 picks. With so many holes to fill and players close to retirement they need to hit on bunch of stars.
