Kmart128 Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 The best game ive ever seen from a WR was Etta Tawo against Pittsburgh. 13 catches 178 yards and 5TDs...
YoloinOhio Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 The best game ive ever seen from a WR was Etta Tawo against Pittsburgh. 13 catches 178 yards and 5TDs...damn! That's impressive
nedboy7 Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 That name could upset some white folks. Seems disrespectful.
Johnny Hammersticks Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 That name could upset some white folks. Seems disrespectful. Huh? Based on what I saw from him last year at Syracuse, I can't believe the kid is a FA right now. I thought he's at least stick on JAX's PS after Robinson went down. I wish him well.
Magox Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 You have now. The 6'-2" 202 lb former Syracuse WR had a recent tryout with the Bills, who are looking to replace DT Coleman on the 53 man roster. He looks like an NFL WR to me. Tall, lean, fast, can high point the ball, tough to bring down in the open field. Here are his 2016 highlights. he could be the guy that the Bills sign in the next few days. Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qCI-_E--3tk. Impressive highlights. Looks like he's got some speed to him as well. He must really have some unimpressive lowlights as well to not have been drafted.
Blokestradamus Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 The best game ive ever seen from a WR was Etta Tawo against Pittsburgh. 13 catches 178 yards and 5TDs... While that was a fantastic game for him, Pitt were 127th out of 128 teams in pass D last year. Worse than Texas Tech http://www.cfbstats.com/2016/leader/national/team/defense/split01/category02/sort01.html 4.49. Decent straight line speed, not a whole lot of lateral quickness. He didn't seem to have many open field moves, but showed some power. He did have a few drops from what I remember, but he also made some very tough grabs. Cuse had him hand-timed at 4.35 at the Pro Day as well. He's no slouch. Figured he was probably around a 4.45 guy on the field. Problem is that he's like a no-frills Corey Coleman. The Babers scheme is an off shoot of Art Briles so there's not a lot of tape out there of a diverse route running portfolio. Project guy but very intriguing.

Mark Vader Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 The best game ive ever seen from a WR was Etta Tawo against Pittsburgh. 13 catches 178 yards and 5TDs... So Nathan Peterman has seen him firsthand. He dominated at Cuse Which isn't saying much.
Bronxbomber21 Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 I hope they sign him I was hoping the bills drafted him late
PIZ Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 #7. Also, check out Peterman: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Ao_LrQ-uSw
Kmart128 Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 Impressive highlights. Looks like he's got some speed to him as well. He must really have some unimpressive lowlights as well to not have been drafted. He doesnt have many. The guy was a flat out beast. He went undrafted only because he played in Dino Babers hurry up scheme. He runs what Art Briles ran at Baylor. Many scouts assumed that he was just a product of the scheme because he struggled to get on the field in Maryland. When he tranfered to Syracuse and went into Babers offense. Thats when he exploded. While that was a fantastic game for him, Pitt were 127th out of 128 teams in pass D last year. Worse than Texas Tech Remember when Obi Melanfawu lit up the combine... Etta Tawo destroyed him when they played UCONN. 12 catches 270 yards and 2 TDs against one of the best DBs in the country. He played great against anybody who lined up across him
BmarvB Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 Because of what you don't see in the highlights; the drops. That'll do it every time.
RyanC883 Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 (edited) YES!!!! I wanted the Bills to draft him in the 7th. He'd be a great addition. Thanks for the post. He faced the top corner of every ACC team last season and produced. Also faced the corner from UCONN and beat him. Def worth a PS spot if nothing else. Edited September 28, 2017 by RyanC883
ChanOverChin Posted September 28, 2017 Author Posted September 28, 2017 The Bills aren't going to trade for WR Demarius Thomas so Etta-Tawo is the kind of guy that their going to consider to try to improve the WR corps. he seems like the type of player that would be worth taking a chance on to me.
OhDozeBills Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 I think Walt Powell will be a nice addition to the WR group when he gets back from suspension. Would rather use that open spot to add another DB for depth, we're low numbers wise there
DC Tom Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 So what's his position on the National Anthem?

1st Ammendment NoMas Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 I thought this was what we signed K Clay for. He actually got downfield and made a catch, but if Amba Towels is better, then good for us.
Chandler#81 Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 Played for a terrible college program. Isn't fast, doesn't move well and has suspect hands. Wasn't drafted, but Marrone signed him 'cuz of Cuze'. Next up.
