ChanOverChin Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 You have now. The 6'-2" 202 lb former Syracuse WR had a recent tryout with the Bills, who are looking to replace DT Coleman on the 53 man roster. He looks like an NFL WR to me. Tall, lean, fast, can high point the ball, tough to bring down in the open field. Here are his 2016 highlights. he could be the guy that the Bills sign in the next few days. YoloinOhio Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 I have heard of him. Any idea why he hasn't caught on anywhere so far, even a PS?
Blokestradamus Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 I have heard of him. Any idea why he hasn't caught on anywhere so far, even a PS? Because of what you don't see in the highlights; the drops.
Gugny Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 When you say it at the right speed, it sounds like "I'm a get a towel."
YoloinOhio Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 Because of what you don't see in the highlights; the drops. welp that'll do it
Bookie Man Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 As a Syracuse fan, yes. He was a legit deep threat at Cuse.
Blokestradamus Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 welp that'll do it I'd still take a shot on him, think I had a 6th on him last year. Dino gave him the chance to go vertical a lot and he's got some great catches in his locker. Even if he's that niche usage 4th/5th WR, he might be good for a few big plays along the way. If you can clean the hands up, he's got potential to develop into a guy you can trust in 3-wide sets.
NewMexBills Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 I would rather call up brandon reilly from PS, he deserves a shot & we need his quickness plus sure-hands

cale Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 I have no idea why Brandon Reilly isn't on the 53. The guy was the most productive WR in camp. Sometimes coaches overthink things.
Bookie Man Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 how fast is he? 4.49. Decent straight line speed, not a whole lot of lateral quickness. He didn't seem to have many open field moves, but showed some power. He did have a few drops from what I remember, but he also made some very tough grabs.
26CornerBlitz Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 @MatthewFairburn Buffalo Bills reportedly work out WR Amba Etta-Tawo, QB Garrett Grayson, 4 others: http://trib.al/9I18nBq
LB3 Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 He had a great year for Syracuse last year. Thought he would get drafted late rounds.
YoloinOhio Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 (edited) If they do sign him, it would be to the PS. They can either sign one if the other PS players to the 53 to make room or release someone. He's not taking a spot on the 53 if he's never taken a rep from TT. Jmo. Plus we get Powell back next week. At this point in the week it's pretty much a guarantee that Coleman's spot will be a PS player I'd think. Edited September 28, 2017 by YoloinOhio
Kirby Jackson Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 Because of what you don't see in the highlights; the drops. Good, that's what this team is missing.
BuffaloBillsMagic1 Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 I thought Jax picked him up when Robinson went down, maybe I am wrong

TigerJ Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 Why can't we find a 24 year old 6'4" WR who runs a 4.3 has great hands and elite route running ability 4 games into the season?
