boyst Posted October 5, 2017 Posted October 5, 2017 We must appreciate that Orton was an obnoxious or womanizing man. He spoke well to the public and didn't cause headlines for us; between guys like Brees, Newton and countless other idiot QB's who are bad role models Orton was a good man.

He spoke well to the public and didn't cause headlines for us; between guys like Brees, Newton and countless other idiot QB's who are bad role models Orton was a good man. In light of what Cam said yesterday, I have moved Kyle Orton ahead of Cam Newton and a few others including Rothlisburger, Winston, Brees and Rivers. Orton will never be ahead of Montana or Manning (those guys were class acts on and off the field). So taking Orton's performance on the field and off the field, he fits somewhere between Warren Moon and Marino IMO. With that said, can anyone seriously argue against his rightful place on the Wall?

BringBackFergy Posted October 5, 2017 Author Posted October 5, 2017 No No - you can't argue against his place on the Wall or No - he doesn't belong on the Wall?

4_kidd_4 Posted October 5, 2017 Posted October 5, 2017 I think the extrapolated evidence speaks for itself.
Cripple Creek Posted October 5, 2017 Posted October 5, 2017 I think the extrapolated evidence speaks for itself. It generally does 96% of the time in my experience.
BobbyC81 Posted October 5, 2017 Posted October 5, 2017 Orton should be on the 'Wall of Shame' for that infamous slide short of the first down and for the way he left.
4_kidd_4 Posted October 5, 2017 Posted October 5, 2017 Orton should be on the 'Wall of Shame' for that infamous slide short of the first down and for the way he left. Its smart little plays like that. Intangibles. Live to fight another set of downs....on the next possession. Â #ortonup
BringBackFergy Posted October 5, 2017 Author Posted October 5, 2017 (edited) Its smart little plays like that. Intangibles. Live to fight another set of downs....on the next possession. Â #ortonup A lot of people who try to discredit Orton or his credentials point to that play and say he doesn't deserve to be on the Wall. What if the first down marker was two yards shorter? If he made the slide for a first down, are they then saying he should be enshrined on the Wall? I find that argument to be disingenuous...there but for the grace of God go I. What would those detractors do in that same scenario? *crickets* Edited October 5, 2017 by BringBackFergy
mead107 Posted October 5, 2017 Posted October 5, 2017 Next game you attend you should have a big sign saying Orton for the WALL
4_kidd_4 Posted October 5, 2017 Posted October 5, 2017 Next game you attend you should have a big sign saying Orton for the WALL Im feeling an old school paper petition in front of the NErF. Â Ill supply the clipboards and paper. Just need a script... Â Pardon me maam/sir, do you have a moment or two to speak of the virtues of Kyle Orton?
BuffaloBill Posted October 5, 2017 Posted October 5, 2017 Next game you attend you should have a big sign saying Orton for the WALL Well it is rather obvious that he has some sort of man crush for Orton. Heck it's probably even somehow sexually perverse. Is there some Freudian sexual connotation involving walls?

BuffaloBill Posted October 6, 2017 Posted October 6, 2017 There's enough sex in the stadium already. Let's leave Orton out of that... You clearly do not understand the twisted mess of deviant thought that drives BBF's behavior. It is evident throughout this thread that not only does he have a thing for picnic tables but he is massively turned on by Orton.
