15. Buffalo Bills

2017 record: 2-1
Week 3 ranking: No. 26gn-arrow.png

Tyrod Taylor: 59.6 Total QBR. Despite losing most of his favorite targets this offseason, Taylor currently sits ninth in Total QBR. Don't be surprised, though -- he finished top-10 in both 2015 and 2016, too. He'll try to grind out more yards and wins on the road over the next two weeks with stops in Atlanta and Cincinnati.

Imagine if we beat Atlanta. We are a flawed team but we will have such high hopes it'll be tough to maintain sanity if we lose that Cinci game.

Right now Bengals,TB at home I hope are wins. Atlanta will be very tough. No shame in losing there.

And that would be a typical Bills season right there! Win in ATL, a loss in Cinci and then the wheels fall off

From 26 to 15 in one week.

That means a loss in ATL could drop us right back down with these ever-changing power ranking.

A competitive loss would not drop them much.

a non conference loss wont really hurt but a win would be off the chain.

10-6

For sure. Anything can happen week to week.

So true.

It's making me mad and it hasn't even happened yet.

Denver lost to the then-26th ranked Bills and moved up two spots from 7 to 5?

Makes sense.

I was just gonna say that...these power ranking are grounded in solid logic.

Yeah, its like they just ignored it...they gave credit to the Bills' defense, though.

But basically said "that was uncharacteristic of the Broncos, so we'll give them another week."

That's true.

But my sentiment is that we ought not put stock in these things. They are more of a "whos hot" meter rather than an actual ranking of how good a team is.

True. Big changes every week.

Here's the deal with Power Rankings. Through the first 5-6 weeks of the season the national Analysts still hold tightly unto their beliefs that all of their pre-season prognosticating was correct. Therefore teams like the Giants, who are terrible, still find their way in the top 20, whereas a team they thought was tanking and would pick top 3 in the draft, Bills, are 2-1 are still ranked below them.
