It was a vote. A couple other teams stayed in the locker room too. They emphasized all doing the same thing. Someone went against the grain and I havent seen much negative attention to him. The place for this type of thing is not at a football game. Try getting a permit to protest something inside the stadium or even to counter- protest the players. See how that goes for you. We are only getting one side of the story, then spoon fed more of it from the media lap dogs. They never mention a different point of view either. Just take for granted that what the players are " protesting " about is factual and we all should agree. Don't think that seems a bit one sided or even dangerous? Un-American even. Taxpayers paid for that stadium. Do we want it used by just a select group to stage a protest? Or is it for football. This is my largest complaint. This was fumbling out of bounds on 4th and long. People were not paying attention then Trump goes and resurects it. It was a two minute, non-violent, undisruptive expression of how they feel. What could be more American? Who else is being stopped from doing a similar expression? Spoon fed what story? What different point of view? This straight-forward. The players are expressing their concern over racial justice. The President decided to dismiss those concerns and more players joined in.
