Without sales statistics, it's hard to judge what this means.

Villanueve seems like a really interesting guy, BTW. I'm sure we'll be hearing more from him this week...

"A spokesman for Fanatics, which runs the NFL's online store, confirmed to ESPN that, over the past 24 hours, more Villanueva gear, including jerseys and name and number T-shirts, has been ordered than that of any other NFL player"

Sounds pretty clear to me.

So, is it 2? 200? 2,000?

Not clear to me, without context...

Once again, the ONLY people whose panties are twisted over this are the very people keeping the story alive: sports writers.

Yep, they and the news media could not resist this non-story.

Although the NFL has got to be loving this. You just know that the NFL's television ratings went up this week.

It's more. Than Brady. Than Wentz. Than everybody else.

Ohh... that sound impressive. But if they sell 200 jersey's a day, 201 ain't that big a deal.

And I like the guy, BTW. Just saying this is very sloppy journalism...

I'd say an offensive lineman selling more jerseys than Tom Brady is the definition of a big deal. Because he's an offensive lineman. Not Tom

Brady.

No. They went up. Why? Because there are millions of far-left people who hate sports, but who tuned in to watch all the announcers and players piss and moan about the president, who they hate with a passion.

This is porn to the far left.

Considering that previous sales of Villanueva's jersey were probably only to him and his family, the fact that he's outselling the marquee players does say a lot.

That's one game.

Fans yesterday wanted to see NFL talking heads react to Trump. Fox 11am NFL show, +30%. Fox NFL Sunday, +9%. CBS' The NFL Today, +33%.

CBS says its NFL games were up four percent over last year's Week 3 games. GB-CIN is the highest rated game of the week so far.
