Dragonborn10 Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 Guy keeps making plays. Every year I think he will get cut. Happy to be wrong. Solid contributor.
BillsFanMike Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 Ageed. Comes in and makes the clutch catches.
Royale with Cheese Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 I think every team needs a Nick O'Leary type. He's not flashy or will constantly beat you but he's dependable at least once a game for something really needed.
dwight in philly Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 Waiting for him to score a TD.. wondering what his celebration will be.. a golf swing?
Bangarang Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 I bet you guys didnt know hes the grandson of Jack Nicklaus.
Captain_Quint Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 He's Jack Nicholson's grandson, so the genes are there. I think he has improved a lot in his run blocking, and that's keeping him on the team. He doesn't catch a whole lot of football's, but when they go his way, he doesn't drop many either. Solid contributor and dependable, but it would be nice to have a gamebreaking TE, especially if we draft a new QB.
The Wiz Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 I bet you guys didnt know hes the grandson of Jack Nicklaus. does he wear a wedding ring when he plays though?
Royale with Cheese Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 I bet you guys didnt know hes the grandson of Jack Nicklaus. or that Jack Nicklaus played golf and not the Joker or Jack Torrance
Steve Billieve Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 I bet you guys didnt know hes the grandson of Jack Nicklaus. was wondering how many posts it would take to get to this maybe we should change the thread title to Jack Nicklaus' grandson
Lurker Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 He's made tremendous progress. Last year, I thought he might have been the worst guy on the 53-man roster. He couldn't run a route to save his life early in the year and just seemed overwhelmed. The light bulb seems to have come on for him...
kota Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 He is open often. I think he compliments Clay very well. Happy for him.
SlimShady'sSpaceForce Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 I bet you guys didnt know hes the grandson of Jack Nicklaus. I knew that
Kelly the Dog Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 I think his grandmother discovered the Arnold Palmer drink. He's turning into a pretty valuable player.
Simon Says Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 They consider him primarily a blocker and he has made a few catches. But, didnt he drop one earlier in the game?
BillsFan17 Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 I've always pulled for the kid. Glad to see he's getting the targets. Hopefully that catch instills more faith from the coaching staff as well as TT
boyst Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 No gloves, no problemI think it was Lee Smith who drove me nuts always wearing the blocking gloves and hands tapped up enough to make receiving a joke.
JohnBonhamRocks Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 He's Jack Nicholson's grandson, so the genes are there. I mean, I know the NFL is becoming more and more about entertainment every day, but not so sure acting genes are all that helpful...
Original Byrd Man Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 Guy keeps making plays. Every year I think he will get cut. Happy to be wrong. Solid contributor. The poor guy doesn't get enough credit. I also thought he was getting cut early in his career, but he has had some big time plays. He has the rap of being a good blocker but slow, which may be true but he seems to get open and he doesn't drop any opportunities.
