San-O
during the draft. I am afraid what draft day magic he will work this year. At least we don't have a first round pick or even worse a HIGH first round pick. This years draft has been said to be weak. Are there any positions which are strong? Are you implying that TD is a bad drafter??
San-O
I don't get it. Are you implying that TD is a bad drafter?? 262421 I think he gets overly creative, drafting someone for a position they are not suited for and trying to convert them, or reach. R. Denney J. Reed Coy Wire I would like to see him stop trading away picks and trying to move up.
R. Rich
While I don't agree with a lot of his moves, Donahoe isn't horrible when it comes to the draft. I certainly would like to see him more active in bringing in OL help, but he did, after all, engineer moves that brought us Nate Clements, Terrence McGee, and Willis McGahee. He could stand to do more in some areas, but we could do a lot worse for a GM.

He had 4 picks in the first three rounds including the #4 overall. All we have to show for it, is three backups and at this point in his career, an underachieving RT. Can't hit a home run every time. R. Rich
Center is strong. 262585 Sure is, and it would be nice if we ended up with one of the top prospects.
San-O
Center is strong. 262585 Good. Another poster says guard is also strong. Maybe we go all O-Line this year. I wouldn't have a problem.

Mark VI
From all accounts, RB,CB and Center are the deepest positions. It's all subjective, depending who you read.

For every pick like Reed, Wire or Denney you get picks like McGahee, Evans, Clements, McGee and even though they're gone/on the way out...Jennings and Henry. TD has made some bad picks, he's also made some picks that have been right on the money. Let's hope Losman turns out to be one of his best. Whether it is fair or not, if he doesn't produce a winner here after 5 freaking years, his tenure would have to be judged a failure unless we are going to hold him to a lesser standard than every other GM in the league. O'l Whitey needs a playoff team.
