Fixxxer Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 Really bad snap also, it made the ball carrier run towards his left, where Lacey was lined up. I think the runner had more room to run to his right.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 I still have no idea how the refs missed our guy calling timeout right in the middle of the field. When the refs weren't calling it, I started wondering whether the bills were actually not trying to call a TO. They looked like they were kind of making a circle with their hands when doing the TO motion, which maybe looked like a playcall or audible of some kind.
PromoTheRobot Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 That was a really dumb call by Vance Joseph. Yeah but Mike Schopp said he liked the call because Mike Schopp.
eball Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 I'm all for coaches being more aggressive on 4th down but it was a very odd call given the time remaining and field position, as well as the fact they were on the road. Almost seemed desperate.
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 More games are won by not losing them than the other way. This was an unnecessarily bad call by Joseph.
Kmart128 Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 Leonard Johnson recognized it in the formation. He audibled to the other guys then moved in. He didnt make the play but he was probably the sole reason we snuffed that out I still have no idea how the refs missed our guy calling timeout right in the middle of the field. It wasnt a timeout. Johnson was audibling
CodeMonkey Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 (edited) That was a really dumb call by Vance Joseph. Beyond dumb. Maybe Rex called it in to him Edited September 25, 2017 by CodeMonkey
Forward Progress Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 It's a nice change from our past to benefit from the opponent coach's poor in-game decisions instead of our own. For the record, I'm not a clairvoyant like the rest of you. I had no expectation of a fake on the play. Given the score, the field position and the talent on Denver's team, there was no reason to make that call.
JinxedBill1 Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 Yeah funny thing was the Bills were trying to call TO and they got ignored by the refs and they still stopped them anyway This. Crazy right?
