JimKelly12 Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 I'm a long time follower of this message board rarely do I contribute. I'm wondering how many agree with my position that I'm fed up with the over saturation of politics in everything. Bottom line is there are 32 NFL owners who take advantage of a non-taxable status. This isn't a question of freedom of speech but an example of employees doing what their employers let them. To me this seems like a way to generate free press for the league and is less about the message. If employees had freedom of speech that Google staffer would not have been fired for the memo he wrote a few months back: https://www.recode.net/2017/8/7/16110696/firing-google-ceo-employee-penned-controversial-memo-on-women-has-violated-its-code-of-conduct Enough is enough, Sunday used to be reserved for only hating on Refs and their bad calls. I miss those days.
Pirate Angel Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 Amen...its starting to be sickening just to turn the TV on anymore
DriveFor1Outta5 Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 (edited) Cool, you just made it about politics yourself. Way to go. Edited September 24, 2017 by DriveFor1Outta5
K D Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 I think sports should always be about politics. In order to win you have to debate the other team and liberals on Twitter get to be the judge
Domdab99 Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 Dear OP: Everyone is entitled to his or her own opinion, even one as stupid as yours.
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 Dear OP: Everyone is entitled to his or her own opinion, even one as stupid as yours. Or, coincidentally, yours.
CNY315 Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 How about you just cheer for the Bills, nobody cares about your opinion on politics
Billsmovinup Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 United States citizens of any race, color, creed, or job title have the right to peacefully express themselves. President Trailertrash opened his big yap. I commend the players for responding the way the did to a bully and a tyrant.
CDogg20 Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 100% agree with the OP. I turn on the tube to forget about all this bs. Theres a time and a place and its definitely not gameday. Talk about it all you want during the week, but stfu on gameday.
Dr.Sack Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 (edited) Trump should keep his opinions to himself when he is working for us no? From now on new rule, Trump can only share his opinion when crapping on his golden toilet via Twitter. Edited September 24, 2017 by Dr.Sack
leonbus23 Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 If politics enter sports discourse, then masses may push for health care, education, and no war. All bad things.

President Trailertrash opened his big yap. I commend the players for responding the way the did to a bully and a tyrant. That they closed ranks and whined collectively is no surprise. It just showed its really all about them. That's all they care about. This is really best for PPP by the way.

Majority of Americans agree with him on this issue.
