26CornerBlitz Posted September 25, 2017 Author Posted September 25, 2017 QUICK HITS: PASS GAME FORCING OPPONENTS TO THINK ABOUT MORE THAN JUST MCCOY? Buffalo's passing game didn't light up the field, but they may have been productive and varied enough to give future opponents something more to think about than just LeSean McCoy.
SlimShady'sSpaceForce Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 Isn't our current ST coach the same as under Rex?!FWIW I didn't think STs were all that bad. Improve the HC and mentality aspect improves.

PolishDave Posted September 26, 2017 Posted September 26, 2017 (edited) @YardsPerPass So you are telling me that these screens can work? https://twitter.com/i/videos/tweet/912360520061214720 That was a stud play by McCoy. He made 2 guys miss to make that play successful. An average back probably loses 2 yards on that play. Wish we would throw him the ball more often. Dawkins got away with a block in the back at the point of attack. Doh! Only 2 Bills players executed at a high level on that play - Zay Jones (key block) and McCoy. Amazing that a play with sloppy execution converted on 3rd and 9. Edited September 26, 2017 by PolishDave

26CornerBlitz Posted September 28, 2017 Author Posted September 28, 2017 All-22 Film Review from Andy Benoit: @Andy_Benoit #Broncos #Bills Film: 3rd-11 Bills man-free blitz out of double-A-gap. Siemian audibled to a draw and.... cont....unblocked S Hyde just off LOS edge green-dogged, Anderson 0 yds. #Broncos #Bills Film: Siemian excellent far hash tight window sideline throw on Sanders 29 yds. Out-n-up attack Cover 4 CB White. Film: #Broncos pass game attacked #Bills outside. Designed rollouts and a lot of condensed formations with routes widening on the stems. #Bills Film: #Broncos a lot of timing rhythm throws on third series, Siemian found a rhythm. #Broncos #Bills Film: RG Leary excellent combo block on Anderson 32 yds, next play again got a great 2nd level block on Charles 12-yd TD. #Broncos Film: Sanders 44 yds excellent tight bunch release to blur assignments of Hyde and CB White. #Bills essentially blew coverage. #Broncos Film: Also on Sanders 44 yds, should have been a long TD, Siemian off-target and too much air under the ball. Film: #Broncos a lot of simple high-low route combinations (at times mirrored) vs. #Bills Cover 2 and Cover 4. #Bills #Broncos Film: Alexander sack he beat LG Garcia with tremendous spin move from standup DT . #Bills Film: Bull rush a significant part of Jerry Hughes’s pass rushing repertoire. Good battles here with #Broncos LT Bolles. #Broncos #Bills Film: Gaines INT inside Broncos 30 was bafflingly undisciplined play by Siemian, who up to then had managed the game well. #Broncos #Bills Film: Gaine INT Siemian too many fundamental QBing mistakes on that play to fit into a tweet. A face-plant play. #Broncos Film: LG Allen Barbre a better athlete than Max Garcia. Quicker and nimbler. #Broncos #Bills Film: Siemian totally lost composure/discipline in 2nd half. Looked at rush, bad fundamentals in movement, didn’t read field #Broncos Film: LT Bolles was not awful but was not as sturdy or assertive as last week. Wonder if the ankle injury was a factor. #Bills Film: Matthews 28 yds on 3rd-6 perfectly executed rub release from tight split, out-leveraged #Broncos man coverage (Parks, Harris). Film: #Bills a lot of PA and designed movement for Taylor, both to his right and left. Great success with deep crossers vs. #Broncos zones. #Broncos Film: DT Gotsis has been very stellar in run D these first three weeks of the season. Often at 3-tech. (Wolfe the 5-tech.) #Bills Film: Taylor excellent working underneath pass game in 2:00 vs. #Broncos man and zone looks. DEN conservative pass rush at times. Film: #Bills O did great w/ downfield crossing routes to exploit #Broncos zone coverage. Did DEN play so much zone to keep eyes on Taylor? #Bills Film: Clay 6-yd TD was same rollout 3-stretch concept Gruden/McVay do, with TE blocking and inserting late as the fourth option. #Broncos Film: #Bills didn't ask Taylor to do much in 3rd-long. His downfield throws come on base downs Film: #Broncos D did not challenge #Bills schematically. Few pressure designs, few coverage disguises. Mostly just straightforward concepts
