JerseyBills Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 As many know, no crow over here. I knew this team has an it factor to it.. We're legit contenders I'm. I'm only mad I missed the final score by 1 point, had 27-16 Bills.. LET'S GO BUFFFFFFFFALLLLOOOOOOOO
Chilly Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 I walked into the Bills Backers club of Austin today and told my friends "I think we're going to win. I have no idea how, but when a Vegas line is THIS fishy it always goes opposite".
JerseyBills Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 Why would they complain after a victory? Then people call you a moaner. Don't worry, Tyrod is gonna **** the bed again. Most people have figured out that Tyrod is a talented guy, who can win some games. They just have also figured out that it's highly unlikely that Tyrod will take any team to the Promised Land. Actually no people have seen Taylor with a legit defense over 16 games. I believe he's capable of playing like this consistently , and I believe that will equate to more wins than losses and once you're in the dance, especially with a legit D, anything is possible.
JOE IN HAMPTON ROADS Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 I gave us no chance this week, had completely given up on Tyrod and thought our defense was a mirage. I was wrong, chowing down on some crow and it never tasted so good. I was right there with you, glad to be wrong. I love McBean for the future but didn't think they could pull this one off this soon.
QCity Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 There are a lot of so-called experts of this board that should be eating a whole lot of crow. Pretty much every person crying about tanking this season. This is what a real football team looks like, not bits and pieces of a team via star power. Let's just thank God Denver didn't unleash Jonathan Williams on us. Such talent we got rid of!

QCity Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 Williams probably would have gotten more yards than Tolbert did on the same carries. Based on what? His 3.5 YPC or his 1 fumble every 14 carries? Just stop.
Bakin Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 Stupid crow eating threads... Just say what you are - annoying non fans who write the last chapter of the book before anything else because your ego needs protecting. I bet my Broncos buddy $100 today Bills +3.5 I always think we can win on any given week. That's what I thought fans did.
Kelly the Dog Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 Based on what? His 3.5 YPC or his 1 fumble every 14 carries? Just stop. Based on his terrific college season when he wasn't hurt and his terrific preseason in the NFL when he wasn't hurt.
NewEra Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 Based on his terrific college season when he wasn't hurt and his terrific preseason in the NFL when he wasn't hurt. He's meh. Just another guy. Can't believe he's even being discussed after a win. Tyrod played a great game today. Not his best, but top 5 I can remember. The pass to O'Leary was beautiful. The scramble on 3rd where he fell down and got the job done could've been done by him and only him. Can't see another qb making that play. Dennison turned it around after the 1st quarter (which was an awful play calling quarter). We got tyrod moving around and abandoned the 3 step drops. Nice to see our OC making the necessary moves. Hats off to Tyrod for his performance today. He was our best player today, no question. Shout out to Tre'davious White as well. That kid is gonna be a star in this league. Can't believe we were able to trade down, acquire an additional first rd pick AND get the best CB in the draft. Shout out to Doug Whaley.

I agree with all of that. Except for first sentence. And I have been criticizing the decision on Williams and Tolbert at each stage. Tolbert is not good as a #2. He's just not. Even the good plays. I'm glad he's on the team. He serves a purpose. But he should not be getting the bulk of the number two carries. We lose yards. I think Banyard and Taiwan Jones would both have more yards if given the exact same carries and holes as Tolbert, let alone JWill who is better than them, and Gillislee who is another mistake and better than JWill.

I have to agree. I do like Tolbert. And is situations, he's the perfect guy. But not as the #2, down in and out, back. J Will was better, Gillislee was great, IMO. (One offseason move I simply cannot understand.) I actually think fewer (targeted) carries from Tolbert would be better for everyone. Of course, you can't be so predictable that Tolbert in the backfield indicates a particula play.
re enlightener Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 one turnover by us loses the game. Taylor doesn't turn the ball over. I'll take no turnovers any day some how our receivers had separation!!!! must be scheme. since matthews runs a 4.4
Agent 91 Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 We are eating crow now? In week 3? I get the feeling we should just put that back in the fridge and save it for a little bit. It was a great game lets not eat crow until we are a playoff contender. The D is who we thought they were. We have new schemes and teams will eventually learm tendencies. Thats when we will see whether or not we sink or swim. Ill gladly sit at the table and fellowship, feast, and partake in libations with all of you when this occurs I was going to start the exact same thread. I am preparing a gourmet meal of lemon basted crow with spinach parmesan crusted mash potatoes. Crow pie for desert. I am so happy eating this.. yum yum... I want more crow. you can keep the pie... but the rest i would be willing to listen to lol. im hungry... so what

Putin Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 Put Peterman In!!!!This ^^^^ There are a lot of so-called experts of this board that should be eating a whole lot of crow. First, Gaines has been more valuable to this team so far this year than what Watkins has been for the Rams. Second, some people here were sure that we would only win a couple more games and gave us no shot at winning against the Broncos, because we lacked "speed and talent" Third, there has been criticism of the coaching and it's clear as day that this is the best coached team we've had in quite some time. Fourth, people have been critical of Beane and the front office this offseason, virtually all of his major moves we've made have been positive contributors to this team. This is what a real football team looks like, not bits and pieces of a team via star power. Can't wait till next year when we have 6 picks in the first three rounds and all that cap room. Great win !!!But a little to early with all the awards ( IMO)
mykidsdad Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 Love the win. Eating a few crow wings here. Im still super concerned by the lack of speed on offense. Does Kaelin Clay have any chance of being a Goodwin type deep threat to open some space in the passing game? It looked like he didnt understand his route on one third down play where TT seemed frustrated after an overthrow. Did anyone see that? Hes been here since Sept 2, so he shoild know the offense. Anyways, the defense looks solid. The team has a great vibe. Best Ive felt in years. They act like adults. McDs comments about Dareus are refreshing. However, the lack of speed at WR and RB2 concern me, and I still cant imagine winning in Atlanta and the ceiling is still probbly 8 games, BUT I hope to eat a lot more crow. Id be happy to.
Peace Frog Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 I'm gonna throw my crow into the Crow-o-matic '76. Mmm, great crow!
davefan66 Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 Yup. Thought we’d lose big. Great game, defense was awesome yesterday! Love White and Gaines! Interior line stuffed a lot of runs. Hate the fact the last two seasons rex ruined our D. Tyrod looked good, made some plays with his feet and hit some nice passes. Bummed about the running game, but loved Tyrod put the offense on his shoulders and played like he did. Atmosphere at the stadium was fantastic!
