OldTimeAFLGuy Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 Crow is good with Frank's Red Hot ...the feathers woefully suck..........need a bald crow...........
Sweats Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 Lesson to be learned here...........the fans know everything. Aye Carumba
bobobonators Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 The sad part is that I hate coming to these forums after a Bills loss bc some fans on here are horrendous. The irony is that those same fans probably now hate coming on this forum after a Bills win for obvious reasons. Look in the mirror, if you fall into that latter category, you should reassess why you root for this team on Sundays.
1st Ammendment NoMas Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 I was going to start the exact same thread. I am preparing a gourmet meal of lemon basted crow with spinach parmesan crusted mash potatoes. Crow pie for desert. I am so happy eating this.. yum yum... I want more crow.
Steptide Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 Still don't like the ultra conservative play calling only being up by 6 or 7 or whatever it was
TigerJ Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 I certainly did not see this game turning out the way it did. Tyrod at times looked like Tyrod, but there were also times he looked more like an NFL QB than I've seen him look thus far as a Bill.
SlimShady'sSpaceForce Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 I didn't pick them to win. I'm very happy they did. I'm not hungry. Not I. I saw improved pass play like week 1 which is good. Do it again next week but better. Still tied for the AFCE lead!
nedboy7 Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 I certainly did not see this game turning out the way it did. Tyrod at times looked like Tyrod, but there were also times he looked more like an NFL QB than I've seen him look thus far as a Bill. That's cute. Really? an nfl qb? get out.
PIZ Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 If Peterman was in, we win by 5 scores. 😁 I'll eat my crow today. Really wish they could have beat Carolina.
swnybillsfan Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 i will definitely eat mine this week. tyrod made some plays that led to the win. he certainly deserves credit for that. good game!
mannc Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 I hope Petermansavior bet the mortgage on the Broncos.
Dorkington Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 I assumed we would lose, and even more so early on when we were still trying to force Tyrod into being a quick passing pocket thrower. Things turned around once we did more bootlegs and play action. Glad to see us being flexible.
Dragonborn10 Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 Dam I was close to picking this score. I had Bills winning 24-16.
GunnerBill Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 (edited) I always felt we matched up well and Siemian isn't great. I had us winning this game as the equivalent of Colts in 15 and Cardinals in 16 (early season upsets) in my pre-season game by game prediction. In the build up today though I was down on us and was unexcited for a Bills game as I can remember in years (beyond the dead rubber week 17s). However, that was the first time this season I have really felt like I was into a game. Loved our effort, loved our toughness, though we were well coached and well prepared... those 2 conservative drives after the pick and fake punt apart. Edited September 24, 2017 by GunnerBill
It's in My Blood Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 If Peterman was in, we win by 5 scores. 😁 I'll eat my crow today. Really wish they could have beat Carolina. Because you have evidence to support this? You think a rookie quarterback plays as well as or better than Tyrod Taylor against that defense? Ok guy
thurst44 Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 I haven't been a big detravtor or anything, but ninetheless I don't see a reason to "eat crow". Tyrod has had games as good amd better than this. His problem is consistency. I'm not sure you can disprove that in 1 game. Also too early to know anything really about McD. Team played hard today, but still some time management questions at the end of the first half. An improvement? Absolutely. But definitely not a form of vindication. But Taylor's played an above average game in six of his last eight games (with two absolute clunkers in between), which is a pretty great rate for a starting QB...51 tds, 16 turnovers! (heck, team has only allowed a single turnover and that was on their first drive).
Koko78 Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 If Peterman was in, we win by 5 scores. I'll eat my crow today. Really wish they could have beat Carolina. Please. If Peterman were in, the Bills would have been up 5 scores by the end of the first quarter. McCoach is keeping the man down.
Jasovon Posted September 24, 2017 Author Posted September 24, 2017 Bear in mind, if we had to be 2-1 this is the best 2-1 there is, losing to an NFC team doesn't matter in the long term.
GunnerBill Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 And as someone who maitains Tyrod isn't good enough... I thought he played really well today. Slow starts to halves continue to be an issue but overall I have to say I thought that game was one of his best.
