Big Gun Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 They've picked top 5 in the draft six years in a row and top 10 in the draft ten years in a row. Any team should be able to turn it around with all those high picks. Like the Edmonton Oilers. Eventually they were going to be good with that many high draft picks.
OldTimeAFLGuy Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 ....kind of surprising that two headstrong Alphas like da Fuhrer Coughlin and General Doug "Patton" could peacefully co-exist.........ya vol-er commandants.......
Doc Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 Like the Edmonton Oilers. Eventually they were going to be good with that many high draft picks. This.
ALF Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 I wish St Doug and Schwartz would have stayed here . He did not get along with Whaley who wanted EJ to start not Orton.
BringBackOrton Posted September 24, 2017 Author Posted September 24, 2017 Like the Edmonton Oilers. Eventually they were going to be good with that many high draft picks. This. What? When we hear that "tanking doesn't work in the NFL?"
Doc Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 What? When we hear that "tanking doesn't work in the NFL?" Tanking...for a QB.
BringBackOrton Posted September 24, 2017 Author Posted September 24, 2017 Tanking...for a QB. Are the Browns on your list of teams that will dominate in a year or two?
BringBackOrton Posted September 24, 2017 Author Posted September 24, 2017 Is this Jags team the best in history? Saint Doug does it again! Terry Pegula, what have you done!
OldTimeAFLGuy Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 Is this Jags team the best in history? Saint Doug does it again! Terry Pegula, what have you done! ...he didn't do squat...he offered Marrone a 4 year, $19.6 mil extension.......Brandon and Whaley turned on his militaristic style because he wanted them in every meeting, which crimped their "style"....end of discussion....
Scott7975 Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 What? When we hear that "tanking doesn't work in the NFL?" So you want to tank for like 5 or 6 years?
BringBackOrton Posted September 24, 2017 Author Posted September 24, 2017 ...he didn't do squat...he offered Marrone a 4 year, $19.6 mil extension.......Brandon and Whaley turned on his militaristic style because he wanted them in every meeting, which crimped their "style"....end of discussion.... Should've given Marrone what he wanted. The drought would be over. Sad.
OldTimeAFLGuy Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 So you want to tank for like 5 or 6 years? ....you're asking HIM?......better hang up and wait for the response....should be good....popcorn time.......
BringBackOrton Posted September 24, 2017 Author Posted September 24, 2017 So you want to tank for like 5 or 6 years? Well, I certainly would take being good after tanking for 5 years than being bad and not being good for 17 years.
Fadingpain Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 When is the last time a Bills QB had 184yds and 2tds at the half? I believe it was December 15th, 1994.
Scott7975 Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 Well, I certainly would take being good after tanking for 5 years than being bad and not being good for 17 years. Fair enough point, but they aren't exactly good yet. Browns have been tanking for years. Detroit had tanked for years.
BringBackOrton Posted September 24, 2017 Author Posted September 24, 2017 Like the Edmonton Oilers. Eventually they were going to be good with that many high draft picks. This. Fair enough point, but they aren't exactly good yet. Browns have been tanking for years. Detroit had tanked for years. These two disagree.
Rico Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 Very few teams deserve to have the score run up on them more than the Ravens, great fake punt Marrone!
GunnerBill Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 I have no problem with them running up the score.
