BringBackOrton Posted September 23, 2017 Posted September 23, 2017 How about catches? I'd rather have more yards and less catches than the converse.
Luka Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 We could have Irvin, Reed and Rice and Tyrod still wouldn't have more than a 150 yards passing. Gotta have the draft picks to take care of the REAL problem on this team.

The only time he orchestrates yards is when he hands the ball off. Dude averages under 200 yards passing per game. And people are on here defending him, which is even funnier. Absolutely no excuse to lose a game where your defense allows 9 points. He should be sitting on the bench.

TT played a big part in the running game. he scored many rushing TDs. he didn't turn the ball over. Fewest passing attempts because of the strong run game. And he had a lot of big games with Watkins in 2015. Dishonest posting here. Kirby Jackson Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 We'll see what their offense is like without them having the huge advantage of the Mile high air and crowd. It's just a feeling. My dad is pounding the under. I may do the opposite.

What's dishonest about stating yards passing per game? 189.8 yds per game last year, 208.9 year prior. 199.35 over two years. Fewest passing attempts because he can't throw the ball.

What's dishonest about stating yards passing per game? 189.8 yds per game last year, 208.9 year prior. 199.35 over two years. Fewest passing attempts because he can't throw the ball. Because we are a heavy running team. And what about the second Miami game and the bad defense against the better teams the last two years. How about all the points scored the last two seasons.
Section242 Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 They can draft or trade for one, or sign on in FA. I'd prefer to go QB and WR twice with the Bills first three picks. Having this group of WR is a disaster for most QB's,
dave mcbride Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 When its week 17, lets revisit this thread and see where the 49ers rank in the NFL on defense. Fact: it was a divisional game on a short week. Sometimes divisional games get crazy (ie. Mia @ Buf last year). The 49ers defense is and will be bad. Keeping the Hawks from passing for 200 is like saying they kept us from passing for 200. Hardly an achievement. That being said, i come away from yesterday's game with the following: Its AMAZING what a great offensive mind can do to average Quarterbacks and offenses in general. McVay and Shanahan were the real stars last night. Because of them, those franchises are headed in the right direction. I think SF has some of the best young defensive talent in the NFL. Buckner and Thomas are porential superstars. Didn't Trent break the record for highest completion percentage in a game by a Bill? 28th and 30th in passing with Tyrod, that's all you have to know.
