eball Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 essentially eliminates any hope of keeping nate clements on the team next year. $36M over 6 years w/ a $13-14M bonus. thx panthers.
CoachChuckDickerson Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 My second home town team alive and well in the free agent market. I love it!!

Karnak the Magnificent predicts TD selects a CB in round 2.... That is just too much and Nate will want more.

UConn James Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 Too bad we'll probably be forced to draft an O-Lineman with that pick... 262211 I'd wager that OBD is, after they see this and have wallet cramps, figuring that they can get by w/ what's on the roster, by signing a mid-level FA and drafting an interior OL in the 3rd. Sadly, it's doubtful Nugent is even a speck on the radar at this point.
philburger1 Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 My second home town team alive and well in the free agent market. I love it!! 262164 My second home team too! Love the Bills, Love the Panthers! ANd to think the Bills passed on John Fox for Grefg Williams.... Image were the Bills would be if they had him coaching three years ago. Panthers see their holes last year (Weak offensive line, lack of big cover corner) and go out and land the best FA's out there. FOx is the 2nd best Coach in the NFL, next to Bill Boringcheck in New England.

Yes with the lack of talent and injuries on the Panthers last year, it was a miracle Fox almost had that team in the playoffs.
