But there’s always room to help a veteran. “We just really feel strongly about helping and doing our part to help veterans and are urging people to reach into their pockets to help us help them,” said Paul, an Army veteran who served in Iraq. The McCrackens are organizing the 2nd Annual Pork for Patriots event to be held in the farm’s pumpkin patch village on Sept. 23.
