purple haze Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 (edited) Eh, Kupp looks ok, he's getting a lot of single coverage because of Sammy/Woods/Austin. Problem is exactly what happened on Sunday, Goff looks for Kupp too much. Right off that snap in the last drive, he zeros in on Kupp, who hasn't beaten his guy and throws the ball to him, which is intercepted. Kupps talent level is no where near Watkins, who took a 5 yard slant for 25 yards on Sunday. The YAC was what everyone here wanted to see. Caught the ball put his foot in the ground and was gone. . Kupp was being discussed in camp and preseason before Sammy showed up. I'm not saying Kupp is as talented as Sammy. He's not. He does look good though for a rookie. And as you said Goff looks for him. Goff is comfortable with him and I don't see Sammy's new presence causing that to stop. Goff is young in the game and Kupp has his confidence. Sammy ain't going to see the targets he should see. Edited September 20, 2017 by purple haze

It's why Fitz and SJ did so good because they were 2nd teamers together. But Kupp is lucky he doesn't have to face #1 cbs.

BillsFan4 Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 I just recently found out that there are legitimately people who believe the earth is flat. I was absolutely blown away. Just the list of things that you would have to believe are lies hurts my head to think about. Time zones, gravity, shadows, satellites and satellite imagery, hurricanes and wind patterns, the Hubble space telescope, international space station, all the astronauts, pilots and commercial passengers who have seen the curvature of the earth with their own 2 eyes. Flights that have circumnavigated the globe non stop. Ships slowly appearing on the horizon. Lines of sight from higher viewpoints. The list goes in and in and on. But I guess you can find something on the internet to back up any viewpoint you have these days, no matter how irrational or insane it might be.
boyst Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 So, Sammy wasn't comfortable playing early in the 2016 season because of his injury, but Rex insisted he play. Bad blood from both sides as a result. i have heard the same. and more. Hmmmm. Pot, meet kettle. great take, but he was wrong.
Augie Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 I may have figured out why we traded Sammy. http://theramswire.usatoday.com/2017/09/20/nfl-los-angeles-rams-sammy-watkins-earth-flat-theory/
jaclynrea21 Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 Watkins also thinks the world is flat
Rico Posted September 21, 2017 Posted September 21, 2017 (edited) i have heard the same. and more. great take, but he was wrong. MORE? Excellent! (not the bad news, but that you have more scoop) Suffice it to say that for whatever reasons, a divorce between Sammy and the Bills was inevitable from both sides' perspectives, right? I may have figured out why we traded Sammy. http://theramswire.usatoday.com/2017/09/20/nfl-los-angeles-rams-sammy-watkins-earth-flat-theory/ spidey senses tell me his act for the rams has gone tired, too

Magox Posted September 21, 2017 Posted September 21, 2017 Just curious, assuming Sammy doesn't have a breakout year of over let's say 1300 yards and 10 TD's, will fans keep making these often cited parallels with Julio's 4th year breakout?

Fadingpain Posted September 21, 2017 Posted September 21, 2017 The whole thing about Sammy believing the Earth is flat is hilarious. This idiot should stick to running around and catching balls.
mead107 Posted September 21, 2017 Posted September 21, 2017 Don't give a crap about him or what he thinks. He is not a BILL

LeGOATski Posted September 21, 2017 Posted September 21, 2017 We actually had a guy in this thread who believes the Earth could be flat? They're among us...
JMF2006 Posted September 21, 2017 Posted September 21, 2017 I thought we were "unleashing" Taylor. They were hoping he would run away Watkins also thinks the world is flat Of course its not flat............there are hills and mountains

YoloinOhio Posted September 21, 2017 Posted September 21, 2017 I forced myself to use this thing called Google. It was William Hayes and its genius because it's the only reason I know him.they are both in the clubhttps://bars.tl/Vu6u/o9szYvWreF
Bleeding Bills Blue Posted September 21, 2017 Posted September 21, 2017 They are a bit of a mess as a team in LA. No one will go to their games until they're good, their best player skipped camp and wants a dareus deal, their qb isn't very good yet, they pay their receivers a ton, and will pay them more if they extend Sammy. They're going to be cap strapped soon.
