boyst Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 We Work Out Players Every Monday And Tuesday They are generally in front of position coaches and/or scouts. Probably 6 or more a week. Never a bad idea to have knowledge of another punter out there should Schmidt's foot fall off
RoyBatty is alive Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 Vomits over self. Filed position is the least of my worries, it is such an antiquated argument. You only have to win field position when you have a bad team. Flipping the field doesn't mean a damn if you have an offense that cant move the ball. Good just get us the Pats offense and we wont worry about flipping the field anymore.
CountDorkula Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 Good just get us the Pats offense and we wont worry about flipping the field anymore. That's kind of the point. You think the Pats care about winning field position? A good offense will score, a bad one will not regardless of field position.
macaroni Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 After watching our offense yesterday I think the prudent approach just may be for the Bills to carry two punters on the roster, with only one, his leg will be shot my mid season. just sayin'
Brianmoorman4jesus Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 Tyrod is going to wear our punter out. Might need to have a few dressed for each game. Got to keep their legs fresh What's Moornan doing?
JerseyBills Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 I hope he isn't just a conservative defensive coach. And truth be told, I liked the playcall on that 4th down play. They just got stuffed. I didn't like the 3rd down call. You're in 4 down territory, pound that ball twice with Tolbert and get the fresh set of downs.Great execution on 4th down. That's a 40 yard run versus alot of teams
Lurker Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 McDermott loves punting. Maybe they'll carry two, since we'll be doing so much of it this year...
without a drought Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 McD wants a punter who can also be the long snapper.
Lurker Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 (edited) Makes sense. Schmidt didn't kick too well yesterday Six punts for a 49.5 gross and 44.5 net average is "not too well?" Keep drinking Mr. Goat... Edited September 18, 2017 by Lurker
PromoTheRobot Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 I don't understand this at all... our guy is solid and knows the wind pattern in Orchard Park. Why give that up? If anything, the K position has been the one that's been worrisome. Agreed. Hauschka almost missed another FG yesterday. It's got to be a mental thing.
mob16151 Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 That's kind of the point. You think the Pats care about winning field position? A good offense will score, a bad one will not regardless of field position. I suspect the Pats care about everything.
Blokestradamus Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 You think the Pats care about winning field position? Bill traded for Johnson Bademosi at cutdown just to shore up his ST units. Bill has paid top-flight gunner Matthew Slater $11.2m since 2012. So, yes
YoloinOhio Posted September 18, 2017 Author Posted September 18, 2017 Bill traded for Johnson Bademosi at cutdown just to shore up his ST units. Bill has paid top-flight gunner Matthew Slater $11.2m since 2012. So, yes dont forget he *drafted* a guy off of Ohio State's rugby team to play ST for him - Nate Ebner. Ebner walked on to the football team to play ST but he's a rugby player (an Olympic one at that). He spent a draft pick on him!

Who had to split duties his rookie year between Foxboro and a naval base.

frostbitmic Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 It's best to rest Colton Schmitt this week because he will be a very busy man again Sunday.
Blokestradamus Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 @AaronWilson_NFL Bills worked out former Texas Tech and Minnesota Vikings punter Taylor Symmank today, according to a source
LABILLBACKER Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 That's why JWill was cut...he couldn't punt.
PlayoffsPlease Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 Probably going to move to a punter by committee approach to keep everybody fresh. This made me laugh out loud.
