Boy, this boy looked good. Took care of the football, threw some darts, made some plays.

1st place in the AFC East, so far. Hopefully we can take him down with our front 4.

Is there any doubt he's the second best QB in the AFCE?

Jay looked good in Chicago during the beginning as well. Then he will get lazy and complacent. At that time he will simply become another crappy QB. Who knows when it will happen with the Dolphins, but his career shows that it's inevitable.

Thanks for the reminder. Seriously .... people need to be reminded.

Why? You wanted us to pickup some retread, half-ass QB that would get us to MAYBE 9-7 for a couple years? Leaving us the exact same place we have been for 17 years? No, we are going to get a QB for the future in May, 2018. Until then, deal with what we have. In the end, it will be better.

Because re-signing Tyrod Taylor for what is essentially a 1-year deal is so obviously preferable to signing Jay Cutler for what would have been essentially a 1-year deal. At roughly the same money. Other than that, I guess you have a great point or something. :wallbash:

In fairness, who would see problems coming? the league is full of success stories of well-known malcontents with a penchant for tossing picks and dividing locker rooms who retired and were subsequently lured out of the broadcast booth to take the helm for a team just prior to the season opener. I think waiting two weeks to anoint him the #2 behind Brady showed great restraint.
