It was absolutely the correct call

Wrong. No arms, no interference.

Or he didnt take what the defense gave him. And cant use that excuse for leaving plays on field because he was putrid

True, with respect to the "putrid" aspect. I think our offensive game calling limited his options and were easily defended. There were no options, no screens, no deep balls called. When you make Tyrod try to be Brady, he will fail. That's a coaching problem.

Run run pass...

so frustrating.

All week, the talk was that we wouldn't really be able to run and we would need to air it out. Why the hell didn't we?

Would you like to venture a guess, or must I really come out and say it? Edited by Crusher

If they stack the box... and they keep blowing up the running game to embarrassing levels... don't continue to burn plays. That's bad coaching to me.

Spread them out to force them out of stacking the box and use Tyrod as a runner... we don't need the guy to stay healthy.

39 total yards in the first half is hard to swallow!!!

Most teams that put up a number like that don't have opportunities to win many ball games.

Tyrod plays with zero fire and his lack of verbal leadership bothers me.

Watching the Denver game - Anderson running hard - stopping him is going to have to be a priority

Report card: @MatthewFairburn and @RyanTalbotBills give out failing grades to offense in #Bills' Week 2 loss.

@PFF

Thomas Davis and the Panthers defense shut down the Bills offense today

Top 5 Grades:

EDGE Jerry Hughes, 84.7 overall grade

S Jordan Poyer, 83.5 overall grade

QB Tyrod Taylor, 80.1 overall grade

DI Kyle Williams, 78.5 oveall grade

G Richie Incognito, 78.1 overall grade

Performances of Note: QB Tyrod Taylor, 80.1 overall grade

It was a rough outing for the Bills offense, but quarterback Tyrod Taylor still made plays throughout the game. As a runner he picked up 51 of his 55 yards on quarterback scrambles and forced a missed tackle. As a passer keeping him clean was key. When pressure was kept away from him he produced a passer rating of 86.1, when pressure got there, that dropped to 59.0.

HB LeSean McCoy, 46.1 overall grade

McCoy created some huge plays for the Bills offense last week, but he was bottled up against the Panthers this week. His offensive line didn’t give him much room to work with, and McCoy actually finished the game with more yards after contact (20) than total rushing yards (9). He was the Bills most targeted receiver with seven targets, but managed just 33 yards on his six receptions

EDGE Jerry Hughes, 84.7 overall grade

Hughes was the best Buffalo pass-rusher today while being among the best run defenders as well. The Bills edge rusher finished the day with five defensive stops, which led Buffalo’s defense. Furthermore, Hughes had a successful day against Carolina LT Matt Kalil as he recorded two sacks and four quarterback hurries on 28 pass rushing snaps.

EDGE Shaq Lawson, 77.1 overall grade

The second-year palyer Lawson was able to build on a solid outing against the Jets in Week 1 as he had an even better game against Carolina today. While Buffalo’s edge rusher did struggle rushing the passer since he picked up just one sack and one hurry on 26 pass rushing snaps, he was the Bills’ best run defender with a run defense grade of 90.1. Lawson constantly set the edge against the Panthers’ run plays and finished the day with five tackles, including three defensive stops.

I'm not the biggest PFF fan but I'm not sure how they can have player grades like these so quickly after the game.

Hard to do w/o the benefit of the coaches film.

McD should of said "well, we really played not to lose instead of trying to win, cause you know it's tough to win in this league. We spent the whole week coming up with this great offensive game plan of making sure we didn't take any chances, keep the game close and hope we can squeak out a win at the end".
