MPT Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 It was absolutely the correct call Wrong. No arms, no interference. Or he didnt take what the defense gave him. And cant use that excuse for leaving plays on field because he was putrid True, with respect to the "putrid" aspect. I think our offensive game calling limited his options and were easily defended. There were no options, no screens, no deep balls called. When you make Tyrod try to be Brady, he will fail. That's a coaching problem.

EmotionallyUnstable Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 He ran a poor route. It is what it is
Crusher Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 (edited) Run run pass... so frustrating. All week, the talk was that we wouldn't really be able to run and we would need to air it out. Why the hell didn't we? Would you like to venture a guess, or must I really come out and say it? Edited September 17, 2017 by Crusher
Bleeding Bills Blue Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 (edited) If they stack the box... and they keep blowing up the running game to embarrassing levels... don't continue to burn plays. That's bad coaching to me. Spread them out to force them out of stacking the box and use Tyrod as a runner... we don't need the guy to stay healthy. Edited September 17, 2017 by dneveu
K D Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 Last year good O bad D. This year good D bad O. Oh no we suck again
CEN-CAL17 Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 39 total yards in the first half is hard to swallow!!! Most teams that put up a number like that don't have opportunities to win many ball games. Tyrod plays with zero fire and his lack of verbal leadership bothers me.
26CornerBlitz Posted September 17, 2017 Author Posted September 17, 2017 @salmaiorana As you might imagine, nice grades for the defense, F's for the #Bills offense on my report card. https://www.democratandchronicle.com/story/sports/football/nfl/bills/2017/09/17/buffalo-bills-carolina-panthers-report-card-grade/675579001/
stevewin Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 Watching the Denver game - Anderson running hard - stopping him is going to have to be a priority

DC Tom Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 @ChrisTrapasso Shouldn't have read too much into #Bills O Wk 1 performance b/c opponent & location. Same goes for Wk 2. #Panthers D: elite & great at home. Well, ****...you can't ignore an eighth of the season.

When pressure was kept away from him he produced a passer rating of 86.1, when pressure got there, that dropped to 59.0. HB LeSean McCoy, 46.1 overall gradeMcCoy created some huge plays for the Bills offense last week, but he was bottled up against the Panthers this week. His offensive line didn’t give him much room to work with, and McCoy actually finished the game with more yards after contact (20) than total rushing yards (9). He was the Bills most targeted receiver with seven targets, but managed just 33 yards on his six receptions EDGE Jerry Hughes, 84.7 overall gradeHughes was the best Buffalo pass-rusher today while being among the best run defenders as well. The Bills edge rusher finished the day with five defensive stops, which led Buffalo’s defense. Furthermore, Hughes had a successful day against Carolina LT Matt Kalil as he recorded two sacks and four quarterback hurries on 28 pass rushing snaps. EDGE Shaq Lawson, 77.1 overall gradeThe second-year palyer Lawson was able to build on a solid outing against the Jets in Week 1 as he had an even better game against Carolina today. I'm not the biggest PFF fan but I'm not sure how they can have player grades like these so quickly after the game.

EmotionallyUnstable Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 I can't wait for the all 22. If this loss is on TT, I will gladly eat crow
100DollarBills Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 I can't wait for the all 22. If this loss is on TT, I will gladly eat crow How is this loss NOT on TT, the dude had less than 25 passing yards the first half. That is inexcusable.
JinVA Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 If you hold a team to 9 points and lose, it's time to start reevaluating your offense.
transplantbillsfan Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 I actually really like how our defense is looking Me too. I still think this team could make some noise with the D alone

OhDozeBills Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 (edited) McD should of said "well, we really played not to lose instead of trying to win, cause you know it's tough to win in this league. We spent the whole week coming up with this great offensive game plan of making sure we didn't take any chances, keep the game close and hope we can squeak out a win at the end".
