Bangarang Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 The throw was great...it was the route that was off. Taylor threw it in the perfect spot, but Zay didn't angle his route to the open end zone. He ran it to the sideline. Still hit him in the hands. lol wat? The throw was great? On what planet?
BringBackOrton Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 Thats not on Zay guys. Lets see any one of you make that catch. Was behind him, he had to twist his body around while his momentum was taking him the other way. Yeah that's Zays fault tyrod missed an open throw. None of us are NFL receivers. It could have and should have been a better throw. But when it hits your hands, you catch it.
CDogg20 Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 Zone coverage he threw to a spot. The average fan might not understand that.I'm sorry from now on i'll make sure to ask you for your expert opinion. Cmon man, anyone with eyes can see thats on tyrod.
Rochesterfan Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 It hit both his hands and he is an NFL receiver. It's clutch time and TT atleast GAVE HIM A REAL CHANCE. That's on Zay He gave him a chance, but that throw was terrible and not the first bad throw he has had.
Drunken Pygmy Goat Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 It was a bad throw. Some of you are so desperate for TT to be the answer that you will literally blame everyone else around him. He was bad today. Teams do not respect our passing game. Your general point is probably true, but I saw that play different...maybe I'm a fool. That doesn't mean I want so desperately for TT to be the answer. That was just one play. It would have been a very tough catch, regardless of who was more to blame, but it hit both hands.
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 I'm sorry from now on i'll make sure to ask you for your expert opinion. Cmon man, anyone with eyes can see thats on tyrod. Good luck.
Jasovon Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 I'm sorry from now on i'll make sure to ask you for your expert opinion. Cmon man, anyone with eyes can see thats on tyrod. Who cares anyway, every other play was Tyrod's damn fault
Pbomb Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 Gotta blame everyone else besides who the real problem is the great tyrod
Blokestradamus Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 Smash concept to beat the deep C2 shell they were playing. Zay catches the LB's leg faking an in-cut for the corner. Timing was off. Firmly in the category of **** happens.
SaviorPeterman Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 Nobody should blame this kid and he has a bright future with this team. Blame a QB who simply doesn't have the necessary skill set or ability to lead a team down the field when the rushing offense isn't working.
Nick the Greek Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 Haul it in for the love of god!!!!
r00tabaga Posted September 17, 2017 Author Posted September 17, 2017 That's not on Zay. That pass was absolute **** to a wide open receiver. Anticipatory throw to a soft spot in the zone. Zay dropped it. He was visibly upset, as he should be. Hopefully this burns in him...makes him want to be great.

Was behind him, he had to twist his body around while his momentum was taking him the other way. Yeah that's Zays fault tyrod missed an open throw. Actually it was on Zay. That route should be run to the cone or corner not the sideline. You only run that to the sideline behind the corner when there is time. If he just runs towards the corner, it's a TD. I am not pinning this game on him, but that route was run improperly. I am sure he would tell you the same. Take a look at the play again and you will see. Tyron actually threw it to the perfect spot for the TD. Zay ran too much to the sideline for no reason,...sad day for any Bills fan.

I thought he was bad today and that's a throw he should probably make. That's a very difficult catch to make when it didn't need to be. He could have caught it but TT did him absolutely no favors.

jester43 Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 Odell Beckham doesn't make that catch... Tyrod made an awful throw But Sammy does.
SwaggatronMcCoy Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 (edited) Are HappyDays and I the only people who saw Zay stumble coming out of his break which slowed him down considerably, and caused him to adjust awkwardly to get back on the route? Edited September 17, 2017 by SwaggatronMcCoy
Big Turk Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 It was a very tough catch...turned at the last second, ball was on the wrong side, made a nice adjustment to even get hands on ball and couldn't hold on. It looks like it was on him but that is on Tyrod...he makes that catch it would have been a phenomenal catch.
Bangarang Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 (edited) Are HappyDays and I the only people who saw Zay stumble coming out of his break which slowed him down considerably?? It's a good thing he did then because the throw would have been even more behind him and totally uncatchable. Edited September 17, 2017 by Bangarang

It's hard to ignore all the BS spewed but that's why we're called fans. Good to have fellow posters who appear to have played or coached the game and can talk about it. TT could have gotten rid of a couple throws quicker today with that said.
