xsoldier54 Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 Overall, can't complain. They stayed within a single score all game long. Bad throw at the end hurt for sure. TT has got to hit that one. I've seen people say it was a drop by Jones. BS. That was a bad throw. Good throw and we win the game.
26CornerBlitz Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 Sammy would've never made that catch http://marcusd1.blogspot.com/2014/10/sammy-watkins-clutch-catch-on-final.html
r00tabaga Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 FIRE DENNISON!!!!!! Yeah, that's what smart teams do.
Mikie2times Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 Really stupid one siding the last play. Taylor did his job allowing his WR to get two hands on it. He could have done it better? He also could have ran him out of bounds or into coverage he extends the fade angle and doesn't get up field. Zay ran a great route and got open. Made a good inside adjustment on the throw and put him into position to make a very difficult play.
MAJBobby Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 And a horrible route Accurate throw ans it is a TD.
BillsFan4 Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 I put that play on Taylor. Even if Zay manages to haul it in he is down at the 4. With a good throw we are celebrating a win right now because it is a walk in touchdown. The first person who tells me I am a Tyrod hater this week is going to get the most almighty volley in response. Exactly. Jones was wide open. Even decent placement on that throw and it might win the game. I'll have to watch the game again, and the all 22, but as of now I can not even begin to defend Tyrod's performance in that game. To be fair, everyone on offense struggled though. The O line had a rough day. Shady had a rough day. But Tyrod was right at the top of the list of guys who had a bad day...
Scott7975 Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 Sorry, but a bad throw makes it a hard catch, and that's what happened. Receivers make hard catches every Sunday.
HappyDays Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 This is the NFL. You gotta make that catch. Looked like Zay slowed up to me on the replay, before the ball was out. Will be interesting when the all-22s come out. Very curious where the passing game broke down. Might be completely on Tyrod I really have no clue.
Royale with Cheese Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 Sorry. The throw was crap. I still expect NFL receivers to catch balls they can get both hands on. I expect an NFL QB to hit a WIDE open WR and not make him adjust his momentum trying to make a finger tip grab. I don't know...maybe we are asking for too much out of our QB.
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 Feel the same way. Good game. Agenda driven posters make these threads basically unreadable. Good game? You call that good? We should have smoked that team like a christmas ham.
Juice_32 Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 Zay could've had it...::after making an incredible play to put himself in position to catch a bad pass. Poor kid. Refs really effd us on the offensive interference. Those that say refs don't help determine outcomes are clueless and need to wake up. Shady almost got his helmet ripped off. We should have had a first down from the 25 with a minute left. It was blatant.
Perry Turtle Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 The ball hit him in BOTH hands. Throw was off, but this is how this team is built to win, and they didn't. 2nd oldest team in the league. PASSED on drafting a QB in the first round. Traded their only deep threat. Dumped all the young talent at RB. Wins aren't easy with the way this team is built. Guys have to make every play to win. A ball hits you in the hands, you gotta catch it, because chances to win games will be far and few between.
frostbitmic Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 The offense should pay their own way back to Buffalo after this performance.
Nitro Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 Accurate throw ans it is a TD. There was a pass rush to account for.
OldTimeAFLGuy Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 (edited) ...pick you poison on this one...the Panthers gratuitously hung around and Buffalo's offense was woefully offensive............where the hell are you going with 255 yards?..... Edited September 17, 2017 by OldTimeAFLGuy
Buffalo Barbarian Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 This is why Tyrod is NOT the answer. He was not under duress and had the opportunity to win the game. Great f*cking choke job on the throw TT. Let's not forget how well he moved the team the whole game previously.
Scott7975 Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 It wasn't a drop he never had it. Bad throw What? He got both his hands on it. Not finger tips. Hands.
Ayjent Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 3 POINTS That's on the OC as well. It's not like Taylor was given any chance to get momentum throwing when they stubbornly stuck with bad running calls all game.
