Kelly the Dog Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 He's been inaccurate this game so far but he was very accurate overall last week. Sure he missed some. But he threw a lot of NFL caliber throws. First week too. Quote
JaCrispy Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 You're an idiot, you won't be here long. haha...I knew it wasn't just me...maybe the 17 years has finally pushed him over the edge. Quote

Kelly the Dog Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 People that like him will say that was a great throw for a TD. People that don't like him will say it was lucky or dangerous or he just threw it up there and WR made a great play. Â Quite a 95 yard drive executed by Lamar. Quote
YoloinOhio Posted September 17, 2017 Author Posted September 17, 2017 Louisville D came to play! Quote

Kelly the Dog Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 I was just saying lol I thought it was dumb until it worked That last sack screamed Tyrod Taylor, no? Yep. Eluded seven tackles and the eighth got him. Quote
EmotionallyUnstable Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 Yep. Eluded seven tackles and the eighth got him. I battle with that skill every weekend. It's amazing to have a QB be able to elude pressure and make plays when there isn't one there. Especially after suffering the Kyle Orton experiment, I really can appreciate his athleticism. And then the next play it's the death of him, either scrambling too soon or doing too much. Â I guess you have to take the good with the bad. Â Watching Lamar, in trying to focus on him strictly from the pocket, because all though those highlight reel plays are awesome, teams with great QBs win from the pocket IMO Quote
Buffalo Barbarian Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 haha...I knew it wasn't just me...maybe the 17 years has finally pushed him over the edge. He's pretty ballsy for newbie here. I can feel the ban coming Quote
Kelly the Dog Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 Looks like crap this first half. See if he can get it together for the second. Quote

Mark Vader Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 That was a bad throw by Jackson. Quote
YoloinOhio Posted September 17, 2017 Author Posted September 17, 2017 Everybody getting into the pick 6 action today Quote
DriveFor1Outta5 Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 If anyone thinks that Jackson can play in the pros as a QB after this game, I don't trust your ability to assess talent. Quote
Mark Vader Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 (edited) If anyone thinks that Jackson can play in the pros as a QB after this game, I don't trust your ability to assess talent. I'm still unsure about Jackson being a Pro QB. Â This Clemson defense is tough. Edited September 17, 2017 by Mark Vader Quote
YoloinOhio Posted September 17, 2017 Author Posted September 17, 2017 This game and last year's Houston game were Lamar's worst. Clemson D is insane. Quote
K D Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 I played QB and I've watched a lot of film on QB's and Josh Rosen is the one I'd stake my reputation on if I was the McBeane's. Flawless form, effortless throws. Makes bad choices sometimes (Favre'esque) but that's something you can teach. When you are growing up and you are better than everyone you often make dumb plays because you can get away with it. It takes time to learn what you can and can't do as you progress through the ranks. Darnold and Rudolph would be the next tier of QB's imo. Not worth watching anyone else. If we don't draft one those guys then we didn't get a franchise guy. Quote
BuffaloRebound Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 I also think Rosen is the better pro prospect than Darnold. Quote
Sammy Watkins' Rib Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 His floor is probably Tyrod Taylor. So with that being the case I would assume he could certainly play the position in the NFL and there would be at least a handful of teams that would draft him as such. Quote
