SaviorPeterman Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 (edited) Not good only one week into the season and this type of injury will certainly linger... http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-1/Quick-Hits-McCoy-sits-out-Friday-practice/5c0d5f44-6daa-47df-b98f-ad5c9c1005b9 McCoy sits out Friday practiceThe Bills are relatively healthy for Sunday’s game at Carolina, and they’d like to keep it that way, especially when it comes to feature back LeSean McCoy. McCoy is sitting out Friday’s practice due to some groin soreness. Edited September 15, 2017 by SaviorPeterman
H2o Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 He didn't get much run in the preseason. I'm not worried. It's likely just a normal vet rest day and typical soreness.
HappyDays Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 I was like 80% sure you are a fan of another team trolling this board, and now I am 100% sure. I'm gonna guess Patriots fan. Jets and Dolphins fans are too depressed to do crap like this.
26CornerBlitz Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 Non issue with him expected to play on Sunday with a full workload. Next!
Watkins90 Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 This just in, football is a tough sport and people get hurt and sore. Call the media, stop the presses. We have some breaking news right here folks.
SaviorPeterman Posted September 15, 2017 Author Posted September 15, 2017 While Tolbert seems to playing the role of grizzled veteran and looked good against the Jets, I really wish we would have kept Gillessie but it was another monumental failure by Doug Whaley. Color me skeptical but I really don't see McCoy lasting a full 16 game season given his history.
Heitz Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 Amputate And replace with a fresh spleen. It's the ONLY way...

26CornerBlitz Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 11 games missed in 8 seasons. What a history! Exactly.

Big C Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 This is just a media trick to get us to ignore the fact that he already broke his arm last week. Shady is done!
BringBackOrton Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 11 games missed in 8 seasons. What a history! When he battled that hammy in 2015, he wasn't great. Even though he played most of the year.
SaviorPeterman Posted September 15, 2017 Author Posted September 15, 2017 (edited) 11 games missed in 8 seasons. What a history! And almost half of them have come the last few years with the Bills (5 games missed in 2015/2016), and even in a few games he started he wasn't close to 100% healthy. Not trying to bash the guy but all I'm saying is that he's near ancient in terms of NFL RB lifespan and if he were to suffer a season ending injury this team would automatically be in the running for the #1 overall pick in next years draft. As always the margin of error for this team is paper thin given the lack of talent and depth. Edited September 15, 2017 by SaviorPeterman

As always the margin of error for this team is paper thin given the lack of talent and depth. Fair enough. However, what we are likely seeing here is just the result of the NFLPA collective bargaining agreement's guidelines on reporting injuries throughout the week. Shady is getting a rest day and has soreness.

145B4IDIE Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 If he's the same Savior******** (fill in the blank) from BBMB the you will be ignoring him sooner rather than later.
T-Bomb Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 Amputate Yes, amputate the groin, I agree, it's the only way to be sure...
