I said this when we made the trade and everyone said I was wrong and that the Texans are just as good if not better than KC. Not sure why we didn't trade with Houston

I like Thursday Night Football. It isnt the best tonight because of two stinker showings but Ill watch it.

There is also the problem that there is not enough time to heal and prepare to play quality football. It's a stupid money grab and should be abolished IMO.

Haha, Goodell and the owners don't care about the players' health. They had all the CTE info and wanted to add more games.

Is this your opinion or have you some information from a credential medical specialist. Yeah a guy with a sprain isnt going to heal but he wouldnt heal in a week.

Colinsworth: "It's like a 2-1 pitchers dual." Just mentioning baseball made it even more boring.

You should have been watching baseball. Indians turning it further into an art. This schlock is a faaaaaaaaaaaar inferior product.

Do you think they would trade their first to jump two spots?

Do we know that was an option? Looks appealing at this point.

I have no idea if it was an option. I've never heard that it was.

Supposedly (from what was said) Whaley and Dorsey had that trade in the works for a week before the draft. So maybe they never bothered calling around when they were on the clock. Or maybe Houston wasn't willing to add the extra 3rd.

Just watching Houston play though, it made me wish we had their 1st instead of KCs. I don't know what's going on with them right now but they don't look very good, where as KC look great. Houston's defense is much better than what they're showing though. I assume they will improve as the season goes on. Sometimes it just takes teams a bit to get going.

They picked there because they traded their first to Cleveland to move up from 25. Cleveland gets a higher pick than us this year and got a higher pick in last year's draft too. Whaley really screwed that one up

I'll agree, Texans pick looks to be ahead of KC at this point. Long season, but I'd bet on that!

True but they traded with Cleveland after our trade correct? They may have liked both guys.

Yes, I have a mathematical formula that proves it to be a fact. OR, I grew up playing football and rugby into adulthood, have listened to countless former NFL players, and have more that a small dose of common sense. Can you PROVE it's NOT less than enough time to acceptably recover?

Im not the one that sayed players dont have enough time to recover. Hiw many players havent played On TNF that YOU think would have played given 61 more hours of rest? The CBA and players union wouldnt allow it. They are limited in the number if practices they can have and when contact is or isnt allowed. The majority of these players play with the exception of injuries that they wouldnt have played through on a normal week. It wont go away and it makes no sense to do away with it.
