BillsSbSoon Posted September 14, 2017 Posted September 14, 2017 Fantastic thread, for me it was Rex Ryans first press conference. I fell for that hook line and sinker. I think i did that day too. One in particular i remember is that '07 mnf game vs dallas. I wanted that one so bad. The crowd was electric and every bills fan deserved that one that night. The way we blew it was unbelievably brutal and i lost it.
Freddie's Dead Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 Watching TD Mike stare at the football laying in the EZ on a kickoff. Then the Jets fell on it. Just when you think they haven't embarrassed us enough, they come up with newer and more shameful ways to lose.
r00tabaga Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 Only twice. Jim Kelly announcing his retirement and XXV.
CommonCents Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 Wide right. I do remember getting that "empty" feeling as we started missing the playoffs while I was still a kid. That also sucked.
Fadingpain Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 No, I was fighting the urge to punch my wife's giant friend in the face. She wanted to come over and root "for the other guys". Maybe because I'm 6'1" and she was bigger than me, and they were the Giants! I was more angry than sad.... Just how big was he?
YoloinOhio Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 I don't cry over football. I just wallow and stew about it in silence.
The Real Buffalo Joe Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 Scream? Hell yes! Cry? Even as a kid I knew it was a game. One I take very seriously, but still a game. Brian's Song, however, may have provoked an allergy attack..... If you don't cry at Brian's Song, you have no soul.
Captain Murica Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 I don't cry over football. I just wallow and stew about it in silence. That's how I am now. As a kid, I cried a lot over sports.
jimmy10 Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 When the Pegulas bid was accepted. I was on the west coast for working listening to WGR way too early in the morning, weeping openly.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 Never have cried over a game but have been mad, which is basically every week
WotAGuy Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 I don't remember ever crying over a Bills game, win or lose. But there are two times that do stand out: 1) I was 11 and my father got my mother and I tickets to the Bengals game in 1970. they were the most expensive tickets at the time - $7.00. We had them on the bulletin board in the kitchen for weeks and I would just stare at them. That seemed like an incredible amount of money then. The morning of the game, my father was having chest pains and decided he better not go to the game. He took me for a walk to break the news and I was devastated. Cried. A lot. Went to the game with my mother and sister (somebody had to use the ticket). OJ blew out his knee and the Bills got killed. I think I'm still scarred by that day! 2) AFC Championship game vs Raiders. Late in 4th Q and everyone in the stadium is going insane, knowing we were going to the Super Bowl for the first time. I remember looking up in the foggy sky, at the snow in the lights, and thinking about my Dad, who had passed in 1975. I definitely teared up - wasn't a full blown snot slurper, but it was pretty emotional. Other than that, it's been mostly head shaking for the past 17 years.
Augie Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 Just how big was he? SHE had a couple inches on me, and her boyfriend was even bigger!
Fadingpain Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 Bills have never made me cry, not even 1 tear.... They have made me upset, angry, confused, sad, and disappointed though. Probably the all time low was after Superbowl XXV. Put me in a funk that lasted days...
YoloinOhio Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 That's how I am now. As a kid, I cried a lot over sports. thats true - I did cry when the Bills lost to Cincy in the playoffs in 1989. We had a party at our house, my sister had made a bills cake and everything. I was 13.

Buffalo716 Posted September 15, 2017 Author Posted September 15, 2017 I don't cry over football. I just wallow and stew about it in silence. I think most football players are like that. It hurts too lose but you are always trained to show no emotion. I could sit in a locker room for 2-3 hours after a loss doing nothing but sulking
Buffalo Barbarian Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 On 3/2/2017. What happened on March second?
Buffalo716 Posted September 15, 2017 Author Posted September 15, 2017 What happened on March second? I think he is trying to be funny because that's the day I joined
