Kingston Bills Fan Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 Anyone have any idea what the Bills highest ranking has been since Flutie? Was it when Trent Edwards had us at 5-1 or whatever our record was? I think we reached top 5 that year before it all went to hell after he was concussed.

KBF, I think we were also top 5, maybe as high as 3, when we beat the Pats and went to 3-0 with Fitzy.
teef Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 i think the year that the bills beat the pats with bledsoe, i think the bills were 1 or 2 after the first two games. we all know how that turned out.
GunnerBill Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 We were top 10 after beating the Dolphins to start 2-1 under Rex as well. We smashed the Colts, lost a high scorer to the Patriots then smashed the Dolphins and the feeling was these Bills are for real. Sadly not.
r00tabaga Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 Pete Prisco has us 27th this week. Behind many 0-1 teams. Just ahead of his Jets, who off course we handled. -smh-

r00tabaga Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 Many writers expect the Bills to get rolled this week. If they pull out a win as an underdog then they deserve a jump in the rankings. We probably will. 😣 We lose big, or win barely.
H2o Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 I want to be ranked #1 in February. Until then the rest of this is meaningless.
BuffaloHokie13 Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 Many writers expect the Bills to get rolled this week. If they pull out a win as an underdog then they deserve a jump in the rankings. Doubtful. We'll move up one spot and they'll say it was a fluke, or the Panthers choked, or both.
LeGOATski Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 Doubtful. We'll move up one spot and they'll say it was a fluke, or the Panthers choked, or both. "It was just the Panthers..."
CommonCents Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 Doubtful. We'll move up one spot and they'll say it was a fluke, or the Panthers choked, or both. Hopefully they win and then we can see if you're right or wrong. As a touchdown dog on the road, playing in the home opener against the Panthers, it would be a huge win for a young coach. I think it would get some positive attention around the league.
buffalobloodfloridahome Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 Even if we win they will blame it on Mcdermott knowing the other team. Just like when Gruden won the super bowl with the bucs he was calling there plays for them.

Scott7975 Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 "It was just the Panthers..." That is going to happen. If this team pulls out a win people will say the Panthers suck. Happened Tyrod first year here. No way do we beat the Colts. We beat the Colts. Oh well the Colts suck.
GunnerBill Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 Hopefully they win and then we can see if you're right or wrong. As a touchdown dog on the road, playing in the home opener against the Panthers, it would be a huge win for a young coach. I think it would get some positive attention around the league. I agree. They'd jump up clearly into the top 20 with a win this week. They'd be in that 15th-20th range.
SaviorPeterman Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 Bills need to win 2 of the next 3 games before there is any real movement in the national power rankings and that's probably not going to happen. Best case is they find a way to upset the Broncos at home and have respectable losses at CAR & ATL.
GunnerBill Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 No way do we beat the Colts. We beat the Colts. Oh well the Colts suck. Some wise heads always had us to beat the Colts in 2015 and to beat the equally highly rated Cardinals in 2016...... we did both. My game this year is the Broncos. We will be at worst 2-1 after week 3. Book it.
thurst44 Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 After Week 6 last year, they were into the top ten (8 on espn). I'm pretty sure they made top 3 during either the quick start of 2008 or 2011. http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/17813507/nfl-2016-week-7-power-rankings-new-england-patriots-minnesota-vikings-seattle-seahawks
BillsFan130 Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 I remember being top 3 i believe. I really try not to pay attention to power rankings though
