LABILLBACKER Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 Don't tell that to Rex Rex has tried to force a round peg into a square hole his entire career. That's why he's so mediocre. I think McD will determine the players strengths and develop his scheme accordingly.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 The legitimate vertical threat still needs to be present to keep opposing defenses honest. That's why we have the ultimate decoy, Lee Evans, running outside the stadium. His mere presence in orchard Park kept the Jets honest.
Jasovon Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 I've never seen a fanbase go so nuts because we lost one guy on a poor unit. He didn't fit us that well but we were not trying to get rid of him. this. We need a 2md te more than anything Why the hell we don't have Barnidge is beyond me.
oldmanfan Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 Why the hell we don't have Barnidge is beyond me. Clay. O'Leary Thomas And is Barnidge aying anywhere right now?
Mat68 Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 FWIW, that deep throw to Matthews was there if Tyrod threw it to the back-shoulder. Come to think of it, I don't remember a Bills' QB throwing a back-shoulder stop-route anytime in the last 5 years. John, you think everyone can go deep. I agree I havent seen it either. Matthews has the frame for that and enough speed to threaten enough over the top that it would be there when ever you want. Same goes with Zay. I dont expect the chemistry needed for that throw to be there with Matthews. To a lesser extent same goes with Jones. Much of the offseason and preseason he role was not definded until a few a weeks ago.
Herb62 Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 I think I remember a post regarding Sammy vs. Zay 40 times and they weren't that far off. Also, 40 times don't always relate to football speed (see Jerry Rice 40 time vs. his career).
26CornerBlitz Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 If the WRs can get separation against man coverage it doesn't matter if they are "burners." From what we are reading right now all-22 is showing that the guys are not getting open in man coverage (other than Shady). Nonsense. All you need to do is look at 40 times.
Jasovon Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 Nonsense. All you need to do is look at 40 times. Exactly, that's why Goodwin is a future Hall of Famer
Mikie2times Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 That's why we have the ultimate decoy, Lee Evans, running outside the stadium. His mere presence in orchard Park kept the Jets honest. I miss me some Lee Evans
jdonley1180 Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 Jacoby Jones in Balt. I believe he had him in Houston as well
BillsfanAZ Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 The Bills Oline will need to give Taylor time for a longer pass play to develop.
yungmack Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 The problem so far isn't the lack of burner speed but the ability to get separation, Clay excepted.
Big Turk Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 Off the top of my head, none really come to mind aside from Sanders. Drawing a blank on who would've filled that role in BAL and HOU Demaryius Thomas can get deep when he needs to also.
Saxum Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 That's why we have the ultimate decoy, Lee Evans, running outside the stadium. His mere presence in orchard Park kept the Jets honest. He will be running in Virginia during Falcons game. https://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/29431-va-northern-buffalo-bills-backers/
