The fact he's not on IR suggests he might be active soon, but who knows? Has anyone head anything that I missed? Side note: I never knew Streater played football at Alfred State. Depends on how long the settlement is for. Typically they come to an agreement where they pay them for as long as they are injured and cover medical expenses etc until healed at which point they are released and become a free agent. If he heals sooner and signs elsewhere the Bills don't have to pay the remainder. You can re-sign the player when the amount of weeks you settled for + 6 weeks has passed. So if they settled with Streater to pay him for say, 4 weeks, they could sign him after week 10.
