Kelly the Dog Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 No need to get deep or argue about anything. Just some observations or strange occurrences that you saw or thought or read somewhere. I just read that Joe Webb tied for the most special teams snaps, 20, with Matt Milano and Joe Banyard. Thought that was kinda crazy and kinda cool.
cba fan Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 So Banyard actually played? Too bad he did not have a few rushes. Shady needs a few breaks.
Royale with Cheese Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 Anyone have any info on arrests yesterday? If it's zero, that definitely would be surprising.

Miyagi-Do Karate Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 The weirdest thing has to be the Haushaka FG. I have literally never seen a ball do what his did. I was joking with Augie in the gameday thread that it looked like me hitting my 4-iron. The pull on that ball at the last second was remarkable.

BadLandsMeanie Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 I think I saw Taiwan Jones do a remarkable thing. He was on kick coverage and he ran down and got into what appeared to be a bar room brawl with a Jet blocker, and then he still made the tackle. I haven't seen a replay yet, and nobody else has mentioned it, so I am not sure if my eyes were fooling me.

PolishDave Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 Seemed like a very high tailgate turnout yesterday. More people tailgating than usual. At least it seemed that way. BadLandsMeanie Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 In the weird category, Poyer gave his intercepted ball to the equipment guy to save for him. I was watching and I think the equipment guy may have switched to another ball to save for Poyer. No idea in the world why someone would do that, but it appeared as though he might have.
Bronxbomber21 Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 Has to be the kick it looked like it almost missed it's exit. That's how sharp that left turn was.

Might be because it was the Jets game ball. Each team has a number of game balls that they are able to prepare beforehand. QB's like them roughed up a certain way and some cheating QB's named Brady like them deflated. Jets might have asked that their balls be returned to them. I have no proof of this, just a guess
