White Linen Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 darby is out 4-6 weeks, just saying! I knew there was a way to predict players would get injured. Nice job Beane!
Rubes Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 Can he even pass the concussion protocol? I mean...how does a brainless reanimated meatbag even get through the concussion protocol? Can we ask Ben Rothlesberger? Ask what? You expect him to be able to speak an answer?
Tenhigh Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 Ask what? You expect him to be able to speak an answer?
thebug Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 So....should I or shoudl I not be sending flowers Dude, wrong thread!
Big C Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 Sorry, I did, I was at the game! Assuming people were confusing contusions and fractures? One guy posted that Shady broke his forearm and we all just kind of had fun with it.
Rocky Landing Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 For those interested: https://www.mountnittany.org/articles/healthsheets/38136 Quote: "This injury will take from a few days to 6 weeks to heal, depending on how severe it is. Moderate to severe shoulder contusions are treated with a sling or shoulder immobilizer. Minor contusions can be treated without any special support."
DC Tom Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 Sorry, I did, I was at the game! Assuming people were confusing contusions and fractures? https://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/196169-gameday-thread-2nd-half/?p=4525315 The poster of that gem rightfully took, and will continue to take, **** for such a stupid post.
BuffaloHokie13 Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 has the funeral been scheduled? No funeral. He's ground up and in the freezer.
rjones71 Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 I heard they amputated his whole arm. Sucks. Nope, just the upper half.
Hapless Bills Fan Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 @JaySkurski E.J. Gaines has a shoulder contusion. #Bills "Contusion" means bruise. Should be manageable unless it turns out to be masking something more serious.
Koko78 Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 should have known I was beaten Lucy, you got some spleening to do...
Billsfansinceday1 Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 Frontal lobotomies are considered experimental but early results are encouraging for players in the contusion protocol. I thought it was worth consideration in this severe case.
BringMetheHeadofLeonLett Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 I'll take the bottle in front of me...
Doc Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 I'll take theI'd rather have a bottle in front of me... FIFY.
DC Tom Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 "Contusion" means bruise. Should be manageable unless it turns out to be masking something more serious. I don't know how a shoulder contusion can mask a broken forearm, though. Gaines needs a second opinion.
Saxum Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 That was predicted once...for McCoy. Any word on McCoy's broken forearm? I hope he doesn't develop laminitis and have to be put down. As long as he does not have a throat injury and unable to start his career in radio next year he will be fine.
