26CornerBlitz Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 Spleen checked out ok? They have harvested one grown from stem cells of the Shah. He'll be okay after surgery.
thebug Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 I heard they amputated his whole arm. Sucks. Great! Just my luck!
Big C Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 i heard that contusions also affect the brain. He may be thinking retirement (per Schefter). Gotta amputate before it spreads!
K D Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 You seriously stressed me out there for a second. Haha sorry. I probably shouldn't joke about such things. Glad it's not serious. I had a feeling it wasn't since he never went to the locker room
OldTimeAFLGuy Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 i heard that contusions also affect the brain. He may be thinking retirement (per Schefter). ....the Rams called...........
4BillsintheBurgh Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 i heard that contusions also affect the brain. He may be thinking retirement (per Schefter). Let's not jump to conclusions, he needs to come out of contusion protocol first.
bmur66 Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 All things considered, I think this is good news. There's a huge photo of him high fiving fans after the game in the Buffalo News today. Can't be that bad That guy he is hi fiving is Tommy Freakin Stimlinger in case anyone wants to know. Freaking guy has photos with Thurman, Bruce at the HOF. Always in the right place at the right time I guess.

yungmack Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 Yes, another EJ thread. This time I'm wondering what you all have heard regarding Gaines' injury yesterday. I searched here and Twitter and the WGR site and could not find anything. Did McD mention it in his presser yesterday or in his interview with Murph today? Still searching as I type... Passed away. Funeral details to follow.
JoeF Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 That's quite a range for recovery. Still trying to pinpoint if its a dislocation or if he is an ankle transplant candidate.....
stevewin Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 Lot of false information in this thread. They did not amputate his arm. His arm is intact. They amputated his shoulder.
Tenhigh Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 Contusion is just a fancy term for broken right? Too bad I liked him. I think it means bruised, not broken.
thunderingsquid Posted September 11, 2017 Author Posted September 11, 2017 Let's not jump to conclusions, he needs to come out of contusion protocol first. Winner winner chicken dinner. Nice.
teef Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 just cover him in leeches, and he'll be fine by sunday.
Doc Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 Lot of false information in this thread. They did not amputate his arm. His arm is intact. They amputated his shoulder. Well now you're being silly.
