Kelly the Dog Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 If we could get Shelton for Travis and a 5th and resign Marcus Price for a small amount, I would say do it.
Chalkie Gerzowski Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 Do you guys want players to come here just so you can waste your money on purchasing another jersey aka laundry, or do you want to start winning? O-Line = SOS.....distress, may day, may day.......

O-Line = SOS.....distress, may day, may day....... 261913 Aw who cares about the freakin O-line--we can get Jamie Nails for the availability of the training table --no cap hit..there's your left guard...Center--Let Dorenbos do it--put JP 11 yards back and give him a running start.... Always the wet blanket aren't you...

Always the wet blanket aren't you... 261919 YES! Anyway.......this should be our starting 5 Jerry Crafts - Jerry Ostroski - Trey Ice Teague - Joe Panos - Robert Hicks
JoeF Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 I am assuming Jamie Nails and Marcus Spriggs off the bench CG??? is that correct...
JoeF Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 Jesus how could I forget the human inactive ...that is a solid 8 right there..definitely super bowl potential McNally may be suiting up by the end of the year with that 8.....
Chalkie Gerzowski Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 also Jon Borchardt......and Justin Cross.....2 blocking gems from the 2-14 days.
Losman-McGahee-Evans Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 If he comes very cheap and doesn't hold back our ability to upgrade the o-line then yes of course. If its a Troy V incent-type contract then hell no.
Arkady Renko Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 Here's our 2005 OL:LT Teague LG L. Smith / #2 pick C Tucker RG Villarial RT Williams Learn it, live it, love it! 261851 I thought Tom Donahoe was bringing in Kris Ferris and Condo Crafts for the guard spots.
Arkady Renko Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 also Jon Borchardt......and Justin Cross.....2 blocking gems from the 2-14 days. 261951 Holy crap, people were already busting out the blasts from the bast. Gosh darn it, I better do more readiating and less postations!!!!!!
jarthur31 Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 I would LOVE ty law to be a bill. He might be on a downslope of his career, but that's better than many guys peak! TD, I say GIT R DONE. The baddest defense in the league might just get badder... Flame on! 261844 This is about winning SB and I don't know how he can do that right now. Is he really better than Troy right now? We have needs elsewhere. Sorry.
Britbillsfan Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 Would like Law as a player but if we signed him I would seriously begin to doubt TD because of the needs that this team has elsewhere. Great player but a lousy move = a NO vote.
njsue Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 I'd break down and cry if that ended up being our O-Line. Yikes, how sad is that lineup. 261852 Seriously
Moose Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 Yeah, let's sign yet another Patsy reject who can't feed his kids Super Bowl rings. READ MY LIPS, Tom Donahoe: "NO NEW EX-PATRIOTS!"
Cobra Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 Where's the option for HELL NO!! People, yes ty law is a solid corner and yes he would greatly improve our pass defense but this team has many more needs to address before we address at corner. And i'm sure he wont come cheap. Show me a tackle, a guard, a defensive tackle, and a kicker and if there's money left over, then we'll talk. 261890 Right on! We need to address our needs first to make this team better! Having the greatest D won't carry us to the playoffs if our O Sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BeantownRob Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 The Defense Ain't Broke, Don't fix it! Let's get real, folks. If this team doesn't get OL help, more depth in the receiving corps and a decent backup QB, we are in trouble. Getting Law makes NO sense at all. NONE
