H2o Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 The Jags had a good game today. They actually dominated the Texans with good defense and the ground game. www.espn.com/nfl/game?gameId=400951580
Roundybout Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 I'm actually impressed. Though, Watson fell off a bit and Tom Savage is, well, Tom Savage.
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 Doug is actually a decent coach. He will make Jacksonville more competitive then it has been in a long time.
Bill_with_it Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 No there will be none because Doug had a good day. The posters only post when someone is losing or playing very poorly. Then they disappear.
BillsFan130 Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 Doug is actually a decent coach. He will make Jacksonville more competitive then it has been in a long time. Agreed. It is a ugly style and is painful to watch if you are a fan of his team, but he is for sure a respectable coach
NoSaint Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 Agreed. It is a ugly style and is painful to watch if you are a fan of his team, but he is for sure a respectable coach It helps that he is in that division too.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 I fully expected it. He inherits a top-5 defense built by his predecessor. He drafts a stud RB and then let's the D and running game carry him, limiting bortles to 100 Yards. The team is probably built to win 7-10 games.
Mark Vader Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 The Jags had a good game today. They actually dominated the Texans with good defense and the ground game. www.espn.com/nfl/game?gameId=400951580 You mentioned it, therefore no one else has to.
H2o Posted September 11, 2017 Author Posted September 11, 2017 It helps that he is in that division too. Yes. The AFC South seems to be anyone's guess from year to year. The Jags could shock some people if Fournette stays healthy.
GETTOTHE50 Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 !@#$ that !@#$ and !@#$ the jags
H2o Posted September 11, 2017 Author Posted September 11, 2017 You mentioned it, therefore no one else has to. Wonderful observation my friend. I was surprised no one else had mentioned it first.
HappyDays Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 (edited) I feel like McDermott is a better version of Marrone. I liked Marrone and thought he deserved more credit for our stout defense than fans gave him. His offensive schemes and loyalty to Hackett did him in. Although honestly who could do better with EJ Manuel and Kyle Orton starting at QB, and CJ Spiller? Edited September 11, 2017 by HappyDays
vincec Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 No there will be none because Doug had a good day. The posters only post when someone is losing or playing very poorly. Then they disappear. Lol. Precisely.
Rico Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 If the Jags can do that to the Texans, that sorry division might be their's for the taking, the talent is sure there. Colts are brutal, and Marrone > Meathead.
Wayne Arnold Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 Doug is actually a decent coach. He will make Jacksonville more competitive then it has been in a long time. No, he's not. And no he won't. Today was a fluke against a bad team. Jaguars will come back down to Earth as soon as next week (although Titans aren't much better).
Wayne Arnold Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 Jacksonville will be good this year. I said prior to the season I think they win at least 8. Marrones no Xs and Os guy, but he gets the most of out of his players and they respond to him. Really?
NoSaint Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 No, he's not. And no he won't. Today was a fluke against a bad team. Jaguars will come back down to Earth as soon as next week (although Titans aren't much better). So the Texans are bad, jags not much better... and colts are the colts.... And you don't see that as a wide open door for the jags to win a division?
Solomon Grundy Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 I mentioned something in the shoutbox
dave mcbride Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 Really? You're wrong, i think. Marrone is not likable, but he is a good football coach.
