Cherrybone Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 To the ones agreeing with the op you guys are in trouble. The board gods are going to get all of you.
bobobonators Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 He was doubled well over half of the snaps he played He didn't make a single impact play though he held his ground for the most part Neither did Hughes Shaq had a fewa nd KW had a few Overall quite a good effort against the run so the DL must have done an adequate job I was expecting more from Dareus but he didn't play poorly When was the last time Jerrah had a sack?
D521646 Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 I agree with the OP, I watched him closely all day. He had a couple of good penetrations, and was doubled quite a bit on passing plays, but for 100 Million, you want to hear his name more often, I would assume.. Serious question: What does he do that Worthy, or Washington cannot? I liked me some big stuff BEFORE he got paid but ever since, he's just not showing enough to justify that contract, JMO. Tim-
stony Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 It's the freaking Jets. Marcell Do-us-in needs to step it up. Well done!! You even made Skip Bayless blush with that one...
bobobonators Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 Jerrah now has 2 sacks in his last 12 games. Not. Good. Enough.
26CornerBlitz Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 It's the freaking Jets. Marcell Do-us-in needs to step it up. 12 points. 38 yards rushing, 214 total yards, 11 first downs. Sit down.

Nuncha Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 12 points. 38 yards rushing, 214 total yards, 11 first downs. Sit down. They. Played. The. Jets.
D521646 Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 12 points. 38 yards rushing, 214 total yards, 11 first downs. Sit down. Against the Jets.. Fair? If they do that next week, you have me sold. Tim-
Fan in San Diego Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 He basically moved as little as possible. He hung around the LOS all game. Had a couple chances to help finish off tackles but chose to wait and watch. Got pushed far off the goal line for McCown's QB sneak. It was really bad. That goal line stand where McCown got the QB sneak, I was thinking man the Dline really got pushed backward, but other than that, I didn't think about the dline all that much.
BringBackOrton Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 There are indeed and it takes just one guy missing an assignment or not doing his job to ruin things. 12 points on 214 total yards and 11 first downs. Pick another day to B word and moan about Dareus. Our offense last year put up a lot of yards and points. Go Mills! Sign him to a long-term deal. Your logic is clearly undeniable.
Maynard Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 12 points. 38 yards rushing, 214 total yards, 11 first downs. Sit down. J-E-T-S Jests Jests Jests.......
Call_Of_Ktulu Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 Theres already a run marcel out of town thread I wish there was more and a billboard. I just rewatched the game from DVR and you are right Dareus played with just enough effort to hold the line. Zero penetration and very little effort, he looked like a statue.
H2o Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 The DL was solid and Hughes didn't do anything stupid today. Marcell was a space eater today. When the defense gets gouged and he is nonexistent then we can revisit the situation.
FreddieJizzle22 Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 For telling the truth about an overpaid player that gave minimal effort today? I'm assuming you watched him on every single play and knew his role/assignment for that particular play. Get a grip man. It's one game.
stony Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 That goal line stand where McCown got the QB sneak, I was thinking man the Dline really got pushed backward, but other than that, I didn't think about the dline all that much. Agreed, very quite day. Which is good whether its versus the Jets or Patriots.

baskingridgebillsfan Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 (edited) watching from tv it didn't look like he played well. I didn't see a lot of pressure from him . I will be interesting when the all 22 reports come out . If the effort was there I would be happy. Edited September 11, 2017 by baskingridgebillsfan

Both commentators including Gannon said they hadn't mentioned him all day which was unique
Sweats Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 It looked to me like everyone was doing their assignments and everyone was playing the line tough. I have no idea what game YOU were watching.
