CDogg20 Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 Fair enough. It's true though. Can't remember a Bill turning a little curl into a 40-yarder like that, probably since A guy like Moulds. He's a great big target with a bit of speed. Jets DB gambled but Matthews was still smooth on that play. Not a curl but...
26CornerBlitz Posted September 10, 2017 Author Posted September 10, 2017 @NewsRadio930 The new look #Bills may be better than advertised: http://www.wben.com/articles/new-look-bills-may-be-better-advertised-21-12-victory-over-jets
Houston's #1 Bills Fan Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 The Bills today made a very bad Jets team look competitive. 5 win team at best IMO. If McCoy wasn't on the roster they'd be in-line for the #1 overall pick. HAHA.....and Cleveland gave Pittsburgh problems and Chicago almost took out Atlanta. Point being, EVERY team is hard to beat in the NFL. There are no gimmes. Sure, there are teams that consistently steamroll, but Week 1 of the NFL brings a lot of mystery to team strength. The Bills did a good job of being smart and not taking huge risks. The Jets played a good game and you can't deny that McCown made some impression third down throws. It's a win, we're in 1st place and we're on to Carolina!!
Brianmoorman4jesus Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 (edited) Any update on Gaines? Edited September 10, 2017 by Brianmoorman4jesus
26CornerBlitz Posted September 10, 2017 Author Posted September 10, 2017 Any update on Gaines? Shoulder injury. Went in for an X-ray with no further update.
HappyDays Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 @NickVeronica: Tyrod Taylor completed 16-28 passes today, w/ 4 completions to WRs. Cam Newton completed 14-25 w/ 5 to WRs. Could be interesting next wk.
Houston's #1 Bills Fan Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 Bills should have broke 30 points today, but the INT happened and so did the missed FG. On paper, they blew out the Jets. Yes, totally agree. Clay easily should have caught that pass and the FG had just a weird hook to it. Should have been 17-7 heading into half-time.
Deranged Rhino Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 McCoy felt his coach deserved much of the credit, "Coach McDermott deserved the game ball. Best thing about him is his leadership." Liked his post game talk, I'm willing to bet what he said off camera was even better. Basing that just on how excited McCoy and Kyle seem to be about him.
Freddie's Dead Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 You know what we didn't see? No 10- or 12-men on the field, no DOG penalties, no burned TO's because we didn't know WTF we're doing. Not a McD fan, but dude is starting to grow on me.

BuffaloHokie13 Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 Yes, totally agree. Clay easily should have caught that pass and the FG had just a weird hook to it. Should have been 17-7 heading into half-time. He took a pretty hard shot to the back. I definitely wish he would've caught all the balls that hit him in the hands (3?), but I'll give him a pass on that one.
26CornerBlitz Posted September 11, 2017 Author Posted September 11, 2017 Alexander: "Take Care of the Little Things" (2:40)Bills LB Lorenzo Alexander spoke to the media following the team's win against the Jets. Alexander discussed the overall strong play from both the offense and defense as well as the importance of starting the season on the right note.
Big C Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 You know what we didn't see? No 10- or 12-men on the field, no DOG penalties, no burned TO's because we didn't know WTF we're doing. Not a McD fan, but dude is starting to grow on me. Did anybody hear the refs pick up a flag on the Jets for toon many men because the guy leaving the field was actually the 11th man?
EmotionallyUnstable Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 Did anybody hear the refs pick up a flag on the Jets for toon many men because the guy leaving the field was actually the 11th man? Yes actually. I had to think about that for a second lol

Wayne Arnold Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 You know what we didn't see? No 10- or 12-men on the field, no DOG penalties, no burned TO's because we didn't know WTF we're doing. The Frankish Reich Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 Did anybody hear the refs pick up a flag on the Jets for toon many men because the guy leaving the field was actually the 11th man? I didn't catch that when it happened ... I thought the ref was saying the 12th man was off the field so they picked up the flag. Nice work, Jets, giving us an 11 on 10!
hemma Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 By my count, we had 10 'big plays' (run of 10 yards or more or pass of 25 yards or more). Jets had 1.
